The thyroidectomy went well. I am glad I did my research to find him. Other physicians recommended me to surgeons in my area. Dr. Lentsch's credentials and experiences are superior. I traveled over an hour and a half to his offices. ( my insurance, my body, my life) Chief surgeons cannot compare in my surrounding area. I am still going through the procedure, but I am confident and comfortable with it. I also appreciate the staff members at the Head and Neck Specialist offices. Dr. Lentsch opened an office in the Columbia SC area. All things work together...

Dr Lentsch is a wonderful doctor. I had put off this necessary surgery, because unbeknownst to me he had left MUSC and I had a difficult time finding his new offices. When I did, i immediately made an appointment and the surgery went very well with no visible scarring to my face. I cannot say enough about how wonderful he is.

A highly experienced multidisciplinary team that has exceeded all my expectations. Following diagnosis in 2021 I was referred to this practice from a Greenville SC oncologist/surgeon. Met with Dr Lentsch and Dr Sharma for their initial prognosis and treatment recommendations. Despite the travel from Greenville, I was absolutely convinced it was the best place for treatment and care. In 2022 began (3) month radiation and chemotherapy treatment under the direction of Dr Sharma, Dr. Holliday and Dr Davis which was successful. Early 2023 a new small area was noticed by Dr Lentsch during my quarterly exam who performed laser surgery removal of the area within two weeks. I can’t say enough about the experience and qualifications of this practice. Over the last (16) months they’ve provided me the best possible treatment I could have imagined. Dr Lentsch removed my thyroid he talked me through the process made me feel very comfortable before the surgery begin.. He gave me my life back and I’m so thankful for his hard work on my neck.. Best Surgeon Ever..

I was referred to Drs. Lentsch & Horwich after a Mohs surgery for basil cell carcinoma on my nose ended up being a “Through and through hole” the size of a cigar. They had to create 3 new layers to close the hole. I could not be more impressed with the care and expert surgery done by these 2 outstanding surgeons! 6 weeks post op and you can barely notice anything!

I am dealing with a rare pharynx complication that had many ENTs perplexed. I sought out Dr. Lentsch after seeing his excellent reviews here at healthgrades and scheduled a consult. Even though his office was quite full he took ample time to listen to me explain my condition and gave me a gameplan that we are pursuing which included a tonsillectomy. After visiting with him prior to surgery I felt very at ease and the procedure went well. Although my issue isn't fully resolved I have total confidence that he will be able to help me. Frankly I've had nothing but poor experiences with otolaryngologists but this is by far the most caring and knowledgeable ENT I've come across and I highly recommend Dr. Eric Lentsch.

Dr Lentsch did a special surgery on me on the inspire unit for sleep apnea. I have a terminal disease called Parkinsonism and MSA. He discussed them other options like cpap.I tried it with different marks and I could not make it work. My aspiration issues and coughing issue old make it impossible to use. But I still was stopping of my breathing some 30 to 40 time a night. We were concerned of the co2 build up in the brain would do damage to my brain. So we would proceed with the procedure. Before the surgery the doctor examined me for the proper blockage direction. I qualified . I was told to go to MUSC at 5:30 am . Everything and everyone was there and we started on time and I was alone about 9:30 am. I woke up and went home.I was not ready for the pain….i is the third day and the pain is starting to subside. Dr. Lentsch’s bedside manner is the finest I have experienced in all the years I have been seeing ENT Dr’s. He is also the FIRST to tell me about a fairly new & simple surgery called Eustachian Tube Dilation!! So there is hope for those of us who have this problem.

I have been under Dr Lentsch's care for the past 3 years following very successful surgery for basal cell cancer. I have the highest regard for Dr. Lentsch's professionalism, patient care, surgical skills and overall medical knowledge and ability.
