NON CARING STAFF
I have a possible Neurological issue, the symptom of which are severe cluster headaches. Via Virginia Mason I was put in touch with this practice who requested a referral from my primary care MD. I did so, and have been going back and forth with Dr. Lee's staff over 2 weeks now, AFTER they received the requested referral and who continue refuseing to schedule an appointment as they always want more info (which I do not have) and they expect me to obtain. I guess Dr. Lee's office cannot be expected to make a direct call with their requests. This is really hard to understand.

Knowledgeable, compassionate, and helpful
Dr. Lee has been my neurologist since moving to the region in 2019. Dr. Lee is wonderful to work with and always takes the time to ensure I understand his recommendations and plan. Several of my family members have accompanied me to my appointments over the years and he is always mindful to include them in the conversation when I request.

We were 'dismissed', not caring or informative
My husband is having issues with memory and suffering from falls. When I left Dr Lee's office, first I was highly disappointed and then I got angry. My husband had an MRI 3 days before our visit and I made sure it was sent to Dr Lee immediately. The Dr said he received it, but clearly hadn't looked at it before seeing us.There was nowhere in the exam room to view scans, and when I mentioned our Primary Care office had called us because they saw a blockage in his neck, he made no comment. I also mentioned comments made by the ER Doc after his last fall, and he paid no attention to that. As the spouse, I was handed 2 pages of questions about my impressions, which I filled out completely and handed back to Dr Lee. Without even looking at what I had to say, he stuffed them in a file. I understand a complete diagnosis cannot be done without a full memory evaluation, but much can be told about the condition of the brain from the MRI. We were told to come back in 3 months. We will not be back

EMG
Visit was satisfactory, Dr Lee did explain procedure of EMG. However it took an extended time to get results to my PCP, and results were discordant with both physical findings and subsequent similar procedure done by another provider. Not recommended.

I have had this doctor for a year. I would not recommend him. His treatment has been negligible, his ego profound. He is rude and condescending, and has refused to share records with my primary care provider despite both my PC and I having gone through the correct channels. My PC is no longer referring to him.

Dr. Lee was perfectly nice, and seemed thorough when examining my elderly mother regarding recent onset of neurological problems. However, the near complete lack of communication between his office and his patients is unforgivable. Phone calls are often not returned for several days, messages left seem to be ignored, and when a response is given, it is often vague and does not answer the specific question asked. Trying to get patient records sent to other providers proved to be impossible. Clear instructions for ordering a specific piece of equipment that the doctor had asked us to get were not given, and eventually ended up being canceled because Dr. Lee had not properly filled out the prescription nor the chart notes, and calls by the healthcare equipment company to request clarification were not returned. We were extremely dissatisfied with his office and would not recommend him.

Barely answered my questions. Not very friendly. Seemed unwilling to answer my questions directly when he said he wanted to perform an EMG on me. The results of the EMG (which was painful) told us nothing!

Dr Lee and his team are EXCEPTIONAL! Dr Lee is a good listener, and good at what he does. After listening to my symptoms, he ordered the appropriate tests and his team of professionals helped guide me every step of the way through the testing process. He EXPLAINED my results in a kind UNDERSTANDABLE way and offered available treatments. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lee. He is personable, caring, professional and knows what he's doing! *We're so grateful to him and his entire professional team.*

Horrible bedside manner!! Rude, no care for patient concerns, basically said I was crazy and nothing was wrong with me and no longer wanted to see me. Was admitted to ER multiple times and 7 sugeries later, another Doc finally diagnosed me with Lupus. Eventhough, I still should see a neurologist, I would never recommend him to anyone.

About Me

care philosophy

I believe patients hold the clues to their diagnosis if providers listen more and speak less. The patient also is a very important piece in determining whether success occurs in their treatment or not. A provider must partner with a patient to achieve better outcomes.
