Rebuild left foot @ heel
I visited Dr Kron with a mangled left foot, from a construction accident. I let the foot heal with out medical help. Dr Kron rebuilt my foot and heal and promised there would be functionality and no PAIN. Not only could I walk , I could walk with absolutely no pain! Dr Kron is one Great Dr Podiatrist! His staff was very kind and attentive, and made me feel at home. Dr Kron did this surgery 10 years ago and I’m doing great. Thanks Doctor Kron.

Bad experience
Do not use this doctor unless you have absolutely no other choice. He is very proud that he is a doctor and makes you feel small to handle foot issues (calicum build up).

Total disorganization
I had to wait 1 1/2 hours for my pre-op appointment because their med assistant had quit and they had no paperwork ready for me. Then, I was asked to provide EKG and blood work which I did. I called and asked several times am I good to go? Do they need anything else? And they said no I was good to go... 36 hrs prior to surgery they call and say they need me get an Echo Cardiogram. I got lucky and was able to get one at 7am the next morning. It was normal just like the rest of my results. Then at 3:21 pm, 16 hours prior to surgery they called and said I need an actual clearance letter from the cardiologist. And FYI, I only saw a cardiologist as a precaution... I never have had any heart issues and dont have high BP either. And why now? My surgery was supposed to be 7am. Total disorganization!! They should have known and given me all that was required ahead of time!!!

RUN!!!
Nice guy. Only good thing I can say. Performed Bunion Surgery in late 2018. Said 6 week recovery. Used boot and borrowed scooter from church. When bandages were removed, it looked like he had used a hatchet, not a scalpel. Said may be 6 month recovery, Next appointment it was changed to one year. Now, (41/2 years later) my foot is VERY cold and swollen. The bottom of the foot is somewhat rounded and creates a balance problem. I am in my late 70's and I don't want a broken hip. My PCP looked at it and shook his head. He asked if I had talked to anyone else. He then dropped the subject. He didn't say if he was talking about another doctor or someone else. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY IF YOU NEED BUNION SURGERY. He may be fine for other procedures.

Almost 4 years ago Dr Kron did ligament repair surgery on my right ankle and all went well. When I started having issues with my Achilles tendon this past November, I returned to him thinking it would be just as positive of an experience. Boy was I wrong! Every time I spoke with him, whether during visit or over the phone he said the opposite of the previous conversation. Had MRI and was told I'd need 2 surgeries for different issues, had to wait 3 weeks to know for sure. Went back and suddenly just one surgery. Was told there'd be nerve block, didn't happen. Pain was horrible night of, when talked to him on the phone he laughed and spoke down to me like I was stupid and couldn't follow directions. Had me on blood thinners to prevent blood clots and on Monday postop said unsafe to take NSAIDs, Thursday was told it was fine even though still on them. One nurse was very caring and sweet, one was rude as could be. I switched doctors for remainder of postop care and will never return to Dr Kron nor recommend him again.

I would give 0 stars if I could. He is a salesman, not a doctor. He lied to me about potential risks, and recovery time. He didn’t offer all of the options to proceed, given my circumstances. I have since found a new doctor and upon reviewing my x ray, he simply said, “what did he do to you?”. Avoid this guy at all costs.

1/7/2020 This doctor is in it for the money! I saw Dr. Kron for a Morton's Neuroma. The 1st suggestions were shots. I had 2 shots. The charge was $1494.00 each time. My Insurance wouldn't pay for it calling it (experimental) so next was surgery. After surgery my foot got infected 2 times which Dr. Kron said it wasn't infected at all.. as it has yellow puss coming out of the top of my foot. Finally I demanded he send the puss off for a culture to be tested. So, he wiped out the puss and re bandage it. Results said staph!! Dr. Kron never apologized for not listening as this transpired over a month in pain. 1/7/2020 I still can't walk on my foot without pain. Always feels like the bottom of my foot is swollen and painful when I step down. Please don't use this doctor.

Dr. Kron is extremely nice - AND an expert on feet and ankles. He has helped my 80 year old mother who had a fall resulting in one fractured leg while the other leg had horrific sprain of the entire foot. She has improved far beyond what we dared hope. Not only is his expertise impressive - his personality and treatment of patients is absolutely wonderful! And his staff is equally as nice. Will definitely recommend Dr. Kron.

Wait time is long and he doesn’t was his hands when coming in the room. After leaving my room he went straight into the room next to me and never washed his hands in there either. He also left the door open when he was talking with me while other patients were walking to their rooms.

There is not enough words that can discribe the totally awesome, knowledgeable, kind, thorough, patient ,understanding, caring, companionate person Dr.Kron is. I called and was given an appointment for the following day. It did not matter that I had no insurance, he treated me so well, nothing lacked. He has a wonderful, delightful sense of humor....which helped ease my worried mind. The Gal's in the office are amazing, and they too have a kind heart, and sense of humor. I MISS THEM!??

Can't say enough great things about Dr. Kron. He has an exceptional bedside manner, explains everything so well so that it's all understood and suggested other alternatives for me before even discussing the possibility of having surgery. I have been seeing him for years and would highly recommend to anyone with any foot or ankle issues.
