I went to this doctor for a pre-op exam thinking "stethoscope, temp, BP, etc., and done.". Nope. It was discussion, Q&A, very thorough hands-on exam, blood draw, summary discussion - took one hour. The next day he called to explain my lab results. Had a bit of an issue that could potentially derail my hernia surgery, so I asked him to consult with the surgeon. He did immediately and called me with the summary and battle plan the very next day. At 62, I've been around the corporate docs in my town and they give you 15 minutes flat. Sometimes they forgot to call me for over a week and once was for a potential cancer scare! This private practice doctor has been an eye-opening experience for my wife and me. We drive over 2 hours to his office because because he's professional, conscientious, and thorough. As part of his subscription service plan, he's also very affordable. It's refreshing that these types of GP's still exist.

I drove 2.5 hours from where I reside for an appointment with Dr. Koperda. I don't go to any doctor very often, but I have never experienced having an MD willing to spend so much time taking my history. He also had his nurse Stephanie take a number of blood samples for lab work. I was very impressed with his and her professionalism. At the end of my initial visit, I requested that Dr. Koperda become my primary physician. When my labs came back, he requested to talk to in another appointment and we set up a tele-session for the next day. Again, he took his time and thoroughly explained my numbers. He then answered questions and we worked out a course of action. Now, unlike my past lifetime of never seeing my primary doctor and having to take "whoever was there that day", I am completely confident that I will get to talk to my own doctor whenever I need. It instills confidence and security. I very pleased thus far and expect this to last.
