Run from this butcher!!
Eric botched up my first wrist surgery - he went in a second time to make repairs - and I ended up a cripple in my left hand. He is the only doctor I have ever heard use the word "oops" after looking at the post surgery x ray. Worst mistake of my life.

Dr. Kagel is the best! I have Dupuytrens Contracture in both hands. I had surgery on one with another doctor and it didn't work. When I got it more severely in my other hand my hand therapist recommended Dr. Kagel. I had surgery last week and he was much more aggressive than my last surgeon and my fingers are perfectly straight. Besides being an amazing surgeon, he is so kind and caring. Update: It's been 3 weeks now and I thought I was getting an infection. The office was closed during Christmas so I left a message and Dr Kagel called me from his vacation in Hawaii, had me send photos and assured me that everything was fine. Not many doctors would do that. I feel so grateful to have found him

I had carpel tunnel in both wrists as well as trigger finger in both hands. He did both surgeries about 5 months apart and did a wonderful job! For the first surgery I felt zero pain. It was weird. Zero pain, even as it was healing. The second surgery I did feel healing pain, but it was minimal. He's also very kind and caring. This doctor is great!

I had ACL replaced in my knee by doctor Kagel in 2008 and the result and care were both excellent. Within 8 months I was backpacking in New Mexico for 10 days carrying a 50 lb pack. I later tore a rotator cuff and went to him again. He referred me for MRI and found the issue. Prescribed 10 weeks of physical therapy that got me back to 90%+ without any surgery that would have taken many months to recover. I am back again with a finger injury.

My initial visit was possible carpel tunnel in both of my arms. He gave me a cortisone shot and sent me to get nerve testing done. The results showed C.T in both of my arms, and the doctor that conducted the testing said that I was a candidate for the surgery. Going back to Dr. Kagel with the results, he asked if the cortisone shot helped, and I explained that the pain came back within a week. He told me that I did not have C.T, and released me of all work restrictions. WORST experience ever!
