unusual cyst and back pain
I am an Internal Medicine physician and my husband went to Dr. Jamrich for a synovial cyst on his spine. (I had never seen this in a patient over my 30 years of practicing medicine) that had been causing problems and was treated non-surgically for symptoms. The symptoms returned so we went for a surgical opinion. Dr. Jamrich was very considerate, completed a physical exam and asked my husband his goals in treatment. Also his office was able to obtain the MRI results quickly as we had forgotten to send the results. He was completely professional, personable and caring and explained all the options. We were extremely satisfied with our appointment. Thank you Dr. Jamrich for giving my husband peace of mind!

The best!!
I was in severe pain with what I was certain were annular tears, and Dr. Jamrich was the only one who LISTENED to me, ordered the discogram no other would, instead wasting all my OWN $$$$$ on numerous MRIs, bone scans, and x-rays which revealed no problem and allowed denial of injury while I writhed in pain. The discogram indeed showed two annular tears - first injury between my shoulder blades, and second injury at L 3/4 & 5/6 four years later, after the first had finally healed. He LISTENS, he gives you options, and even though he recommended nerve blocks instead of lumbar fusion so I could maintain flexibility, he was angel who proved the awful burning misery and inability to “sit,” had a physical source instead of “all in my head.”

Dr Jamrich did a lumbar fusion. After 2 1/2 years of going back and forth with him regarding left side pain that he miss diagnosed. He wanted to fuse further up my spine I left his practice. With 1 visit to another spinal surgeon I was properly diagnosed, SI joint issues. Please look into another practice.

Best spinal surgeon ever!
I'd give him 10 stars if I could. He did my 4-level spinal fusion in May, my outcome is fantastic. I was in debilitating pain before, I have zero pain now. I did exactly what he told me to do, and not to do, during my recuperation, which is about 8 weeks for normal movement, and 3 months for strenuous activity. I recommend Dr. Jamrich 100%!!

Lack Of Follow-up On His Failed Surgery
I had a failed spine fusion performed by Dr Jamrich in March, 2022 and was preparing to have him redo the surgery in February of this year. I emailed his assistant several questions I had after having an office visit with him to go over the revised surgery. After not receiving an answer, I checked in with the assistant 9 days later and she said, “my questions were on his desk and she would try to get him to answer them that day”. When I did not hear from him for two months, I contacted them again. I was informed he had sold his practice and that I should book an appointment to get the answers to my questions. I felt his total lack of follow-up regarding his failed surgery was very unprofessional and I cannot recommend him. His refusing to provide an answer to my questions for over two months, while I was in pain, demonstrated that I did not want to deal with him again nor could I recommend him. Would give 0 stars if it was possible

His staff welcomes you into his office, where Dr. Jamrich listens to each detail of your story. It isn't just about your pain, it is about your future and having a life. He developed a plan for me to let me continue training show dogs, garden and enjoy activities with family. Following surgery Dr. Jamrich and his wonderful assistant stayed in touch for any issues, pain control and progress. They don't dissappear after surgery. They are a call away. I highly recommend Dr. Jamrich and his staff!

My 85 yr old father had back pain. Dr Jamerich decide surgery was best. My father and I had great concern of having surgery at his age. The day of surgery he really didn’t want it. I expressed concerns over memory loss, as his last surgery affected his memory. Dr Jamerich assured us he would be fine within a month. My father lost at least 1/2 of his memory of what he had prior too surgery!!!! He was never the same! The surgery was not successful!! Dad was left with more pain! After this surgery Dad went downhill extremely fast! I encourage whoever reads this DO NOT have surgery over 75-80 unless it’s a lifesaving procedure! Ask around, do your research on the Dr and procedure on elderly!!! I wish we would have!

Dr. Jamrich explained my options, got right to the point and made my surgery date a priority. He and the team of Dr.’s that worked on me did an excellent job. I have recovered and been rehabbing for 6 months. His skill and dedication have given me my life back. I highly recommend Dr. Jamrich for ANY surgery you need for your spine. I cannot stress this point enough, choosing Dr. Jamrich is the very best decision you can make if you have decided to have surgery.

Dr. Jamrich performed a cervical discectomy and fusion for me several years ago and did an excellent job. I had immediate pain relief and a quick recovery. I was initially frustrated by the wait time in the waiting room until I had a chance to talk to Dr. Jamrich. He spent time listening to me and explained the proposed treatment thoroughly, answering all of the questions we had. Had one follow up visit post-surgery, physical therapy for a few weeks, and no need for anything else.

Major problems with a herniated lumbar disc. Another Dr. could not fix it. I asked around the health care community to see who was the best, they all said Dr. Jamrich. He ended up replacing the disc with an artificial disc (it was that bad and I felt every moment of it). I'm in week 2 post surgery and so far I could not be happier. My experience with Dr. Jamrich and his whole staff has been outstanding. I highly recommend him.

Dr Jamrich did a spinal fusion, decompression and placed artificial disks in my back. I suffered for over 20 years. Following the surgery I was walking right away, and I have never had pain again. He changed my life. He gave me my life back and I will be forever grateful for Dr Jamrich. I did my research and he is the BEST.

Dr. Eric jamrich is a wonderful doctor and a wonderful surgeon. I've had to discectomies done through him the first time not being too successful. So my expectation was high and I was a little disappointed dr. Jamrich never gave up on me. Not only is he a good surgeon but he will stick with you until he figures out the problem that's causing your pain. I would highly recommend him. He will never give up on you . Thank you dr. Jamrich you are awesome.

I have had 3 cervical spine surgeries with Dr. Jamrich. I live in Nebraska, but I wouldn't go to anyone else. I have had 3 cervical fusions with the last 2 done by Dr. Jamrich. The 3rd surgery was when I broke my neck in 2 places. I believe that he probably saved my life and kept me from being paralyzed. There isn't a surgeon that I trust more than him.
