Ruined my whole high school experience.
I had three surgeries with Dr. Gardner and two were not needed, per the doctor I got a second opinion from and insurance. I was on crutches for a good year straight. He tried telling me I needed a total knee replacement at 16 years old. He was very unprofessional and when I went in to get papers for a second opinion we were told it was their third one they were giving out that day. I was not able to cheer again after my experience with him.

Left in way more pain
I went in to one visit with Dr. Gardner and I will never return. He is nice(kind of in a demeaning way) but didn't listen to me. And injured me during the exam. I left in tears due to the pain he caused me. His ma was terribly rude. He honestly made my issue worse. I felt very uncomfortable and unheard the entire visit, the injuring me made me never want to work with any one who works with him.

Shoulder rotor cuff repair
After 7 years of some intense pain, loss of career and losing social security , I finally decided well, Social Security will not acknowledge my issues . I am going to be broke without income, I went ahead and met with the Dr. He was amazing, and I am 2 weeks almost 3 weeks out. The pain level has been okay and I am gaining strength daily. Thank you Dr, Gardner for taking care of me and doing the best job ever, I would refer my family and friends to you . Thank you , you are a angel

CHOOSE DR. GARDNER FOR YOUR KNEE SURGERY
I'm 54. Doc tried to talk me into therapy in lieu of replacement. I could no-longer take the pain. Doc did my right knee in Apr. 2021. I was out of the hospital by evening, eventually healed perfectly, no gaudy scar. He did my left knee in Nov. 2021 and I walked out of the hospital 3ish hours after surgery, without a walker! The knee is strong, no gaudy scar. I have too many wonderful things to say about Dr. Gardner (and staff at McKee). He's very friendly, serious about his business and is a maestro at his craft. Don't think twice, about allowing him to fix you.

Dr. GARDNER, was there when my husband needed him. We took my husband to the Er with a really bad infection in his foot. Dr. GARDNER was the surgeon they called in. He was so caring and said he was sorry we had to meet like this. My husband John was going to have his left leg below the knee amputated. He made us feel like we had known him for years. Thank u Dr. GARDNER. John & Colleen Hannig

Today, 8/18/2019 is my 4 week anniversary of my hip replacement surgery with Dr. Eric Gardner as my surgeon. I celebrated by riding my mountain bike 10 miles at an average speed of 11 mph. How great is that? I do not believe that I could have picked a better hip surgeon, and I assure you that I looked very hard at a number of others. This would include the Orthopedic Center of the Rockies and the Steadman Clinic in Vail. This doctor is just fantastic!!! My Surgery was at the Ft. Collins hospital on Harmony Road. The nursing care was also outstanding. Five stars to both the physician and the hospital!

I have had 2 meniscus repair surgeries done by Dr. Gardner now and I couldn’t have picked a better surgeon! He is really polite and is very knowledgeable. The scares from my first surgery healed nice and are barely noticeable. I am fresh from my second surgery on my other knee but the incisions look great and are healing nicely. I would recommend Dr. Gardner to my family and friends. I trust his opinions and his decisions.

I don't know if Dr Gardner will ever see this but I hope he does. I went to him in 6/17 & was told I shouldn't be in a wheelchair w/ a torn labrum; when I came back from X-ray, he said he knew why I was, and he diagnosed me w/ hip dysplaysia. He couldn't do the GANZ surgery, but promised to find me the surgeon who could, and that he'd go ahead of me & plead my case. 12/12/17 I had my labral reconstruction and 12/20/17 I had my GANZ. Dr Gardner, thank you for all you did; I'm walking w/out pain.

Although he comes across overconfident, he was the only MD out of 4 that accurately diagnosed both the arthritis in my wrist and the bursitis in my elbow! Dr. Gardner performed surgery on my elbow and both drained the bursis and found a rare infection in it. His friendly manner and his own injuries make him my preferred Orthopedic.

I was referred to Dr Gardner after an emergency visit at NCMC in Greeley, CO determined I had a fractured and unstable ankle. Dr. Gardner informed me that he was very familiar with bone trauma, and surgeries to repair my ankle were very common. I was placed immediately on his following surgery schedule, and my ankle was repaired two days following the consult. Dr. Gardner was friendly, knowledgeable, and comforting throughout the process. I would recommend Dr. Gardner based on this experience.
