Spectrum Blodgett ER visit Worsening Hip Pain
Wonderful ER Doctor. He was able to move up (2) MRIs Hip and Lumbar originally scheduled at Blodgett scheduled for 7-23-22 to my 6-27-22 Spectrum Blodgett ER visit. He earlier had explained to me that the ER doesn’t do MRIs for ER patients except in very unusual circumstances. He explained everything so that I could easily understand what was going on. He is very kind, caring and compassionate. I was so grateful to get a diagnosis on the second ER visit rather than having to wait until 7-23-22 while I’m experiencing daily’s agonizing hip pain during the middle of the night. Dr. Eric A. Clarke was able to suggest Rx/OTC combinations to help with the pain since I am unable to take NSAIDS and OPIODs. I am also unable to do pool exercises due to a chlorine intolerance. He suggested I talk to my PCP about referrals for PT/OT and referrals to Orthospine & Orthopedic doctors.

I visited Spectrum Big Rapids Hospital with a possible stroke. Dr. Clarke took great care of me, explaining the medical situation to me and my wife. A decision was made to use TPA and I as taken by ambulance t o Spectrum Butterworth. We believe that Dr. Clarke, with his prompt action, may have saved my life. I am eternally thankful for everyone in the ER John S

Met Dr Clarke in the ER at Spectrum and he was awesome ! He was very thorough and made sure all my questions were answered. Left the ER feeling that I had received great care .
