Dr Eric Berkman and his staff is the best. The whole team worked hard with me to achieve the best possible outcome. My outcome is AWESOME!!!!!!

Diagnosed with frozen shoulder and given a shot which was of no benefit. Referred me to my PCP or ER. Elected to see a pain management specialist where I was diagnosed with rheumatic arthritis. Several years ago he treated me successfully for torn rotator cuff with physical therapy and Voltaren. I would rank him between 3 and 4 stars..Years ago I would have ranked him 5 stars

I had my total left knee replacement on August 21st 2019 at the ripe young age of 67. Dr Berkman and his staff were with me every step of the way. From my first office visit with Dr Berkman prior to my surgery, to my recent 4 month post operation office visitation Dr Berkman and his staff took the time to make sure my experience during this difficult chapter in my life was as positive and as comfortable as it could possibly be. I would highly recommend Dr Berkman to do your surgery if you are considering any kind of Orthopedic procedure. Lastly, GREAT work, my knee has not felt this good in a long time, I have a new lease on life.

Dr Berkman was suggested to me by a friend who had used him - her original surgeon had used Dr Berkman for knee replacement. A recommendation from an orthopedic surgeon was a good recommendation. I was a very problematic case because of former knee surgery in Australia 46 years ago which caused multiple complications due to the movement of my patella and horizontal incisions done for the original surgery. Very complicated surgery. Had Dr Edward Berzin assisting due to horizontal incision. Very happy with the job done by both surgeons in getting me through this. I was extremely nervous about this surgery - because of the original surgery and possible complications. At 6 weeks, I have a healthy incision site, good range of motion, and walking without an assistance. Give a 100% recommendation for Dr Berkman.

Dr. Berkman was able to diagnose my knee problem in minutes and suggested the proper course of action. After MRI was completed he suggested surgery for torn Meniscus. The surgery experience was great. Everyone associated withe Dr Berkman treated myself and my wife with kindness. After surgery they sent me home with all the proper instructions. Ten days later my knee is feeling 100% better. I would highly recommend Dr Berkman for any procedures.

I was referred to Dr. Berkman for my first visit on June 27, 20019. My wait time was approximately 8 minutes. The whole experience was positive. The whole team was very helpful, courteous, and kind. Dr. Berkman explained my situation and discussed the options and rationale for those options. He was not in a hurry, but spent time to ensure I understood the information he gave.

I was referred to Dr Berkman for problems with my right knee. My first visit was very nice-short time in the waiting room and when I met with Dr Berkman he listened to my issue and offered sound advice/treatment. After an MRI(2nd visit) determined I had a torn minicus, I first met with his PA and she explained everything to me in terms I could understand. Then Dr Berkman came in asked me if I had any questions and after discussion decided I would try a shot to the knee first before any surgery. That went great and i recommend Dr Berkman and his staff to anyone.

I had a knee infection in my right knee and a year later am still in great pain and knee is still swollen!Now I'm told that they only do bones and not infections and am now left in the lurtch and still with Lott's of pain.

I highly recommend Dr. Berkman for his highly professional ethics and empathy with patients. He took the time to discuss all aspects and expectations of my mom's knee condition. He’s approachable, understanding and very kind.

Dr. Berkman gave me a total knee replacement in December 2018. Six months later, my new knee is great. I have full range of motion, strength, flexibility and no pain. I recommended him to a friend, and she’s having total knee replacement with Dr. Berkman next month. He’s amazing!

Dr. Berkman is an amazing doctor and teacher. He was assigned as my medical school preceptor this semester and made learning stress-free. I learned a lot about how to properly care for patients and provide them with quality care. I can confidently say that what I learned under his tutelage was an invaluable and rewarding experience that will definitely help me in my own future career as a physician.

Dr. Berkman did a full Knee replacement for me in January of 2019 and it has been life changing. I am 9 weeks post-op today and I am able to keep up with my kids for the first time ever. It has given me a new lease on life. I went into the surgery with a full understanding of what to expect and have not been let down. A few things i would like others to know who are considering this, start exercising your leg well in advance and follow your PT program no matter how hard, it pays off.

Dr. Berkman is a kind and informative Surgeon. He actually did both my knees 14 years apart and this experience with him was the same...quality care and a compassionate organized office staff!

Dr. Eric Berkman is an excellent Orthopedic Surgeon who takes time to listen to his patients and correctly diagnoses the problem. After surgery, almost all patients are immediately significantly better and are walking out of the operation room the day of.

Dr. Berkman is one of the most charismatic and intelligent doctors I have had the pleasure of studying under. His years of experience are reflected in his skill, and he always looks out for the patient’s best interest, opting for the most effective and conservative treatment plan possible. He takes time to get to know his patients and will spend as much time with them as necessary so they never feel rushed. The quality of care he provides is unparalleled. Overall, a 10/10 person AND doctor!

Dr. Berkman is a caring, engaging, knowledgeable, and skillful physician and surgeon. He takes the time to listen to you as a patient, provides resources (videos, literature), and engages you in discussion so that you both can decide on treatment that is best for you. He's got a good sense of humor and makes you feel at home. His staff (Gloria, Gabriela, etc.) are all very kind and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I had a pretty complicated situation with tearing my ACL and MCL and Dr. Berkman and his staff went above and beyond to make sure that I was able to get the proper care, surgery, facility and pricing. I do not know what I would have done without Gloria, Dr. Berkman and Dr. Meeks. It has been a tough recovery, injury and they have gone above and beyond to make sure I was able to get the best care.

Dr. Berkman has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've seen. He listens to you and truly cares about your questions and concerns. I'd recommend him to everyone!
