Dr. Eric Baumann, MD

I wish all of the medical professionals I interacted with were as wonderful and caring as Dr. Baumann and his staff. I see him for back pain. He or his staff always follow up after a visit.

I have been seeing Dr Baumann for almost 2 years for chronic pain in lower back and most recently neck. The medial branch block ablations reduce or eliminate the pain. The staff is friendly and professional. They have taken every precaution during COVID-19. Even before Covid your appointment times are honored. To appreciate the doctor I think ones expectations have to be realistic. I’m 72. Bones have problems related to age. The treatment offered here is excellent without question and very effective.

As to the negative comment(s) given to Dr. Baumann? I don't know what it is that you want from him! He can’t give you everlasting salvation. He is there to give injections only and nothing else, that I know of. The care I received from Dr. Baumann and his staff, was nothing else, than EXCELLENT! He and his staff are kind and caring! The shot he administered to my left hip helped me greatly, unlike the orthopedic doctor I had been to before. I am so grateful to him and his staff!

Dr. Baumann and his staff at the Pain Management Center are very professional and kind! Unlike another doctor I had been to, Dr. Baumann made sure there was no pain involved when administering the steroid injection. It was done before I knew it. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone! Thank you, Dr. Baumann!

Dr. Baumann and his staff are the the best !! I suffered a broken neck on duty and I am back 75% after treatment. Highly recommended !!

Dr Baumann is excellent. The reception area is horrible. They rarely answer the phone and if you leave one message like they want, they still will not call you back. Very lame and just plain lazy and rude.

The new guy at this office is to be avoided at all costs! I am so dissatisfied at the level of service I received as a new patient that I requested my paperwork back and left! I will call my insurance company tomorrow, and request that they do something about it. I left with no hope and full of fear for the future. The staff was so-so, but please don't go there!!!! Unless you want a shot!

Dr Baumann is the typical California Transplant, Ok for routine cases but IF ANYTHING GETS OUT OF HIS LIMITED COMFORT ZONE HE IS USELESS. IMHO Phoenix AZ. has a higher calibre of Pain Specilaists who care about their patients and show their true Medical Professionalism other than Dr Baumann. Stay Away.

I missed one appt over 4 yrs ago and he refused to ever see me again. He abandoned my treatment after doing just one side of my lower back, in the middle of a rhizotomy or ablation for lower chronic back pain and refused to reschedule me to finish the procedure he had already started. They still, to this day, refuse my attempts to see him again. So now I have to drive to Phoenix to get epidurals. Little concern for patient care!

These doctors have left patients looking for needed treatment. Their Physicians Assistants are margina at best. Both Doctors are from and schooled in California. You do the math. I wouldn't recommend them. Save a lot of headaches

Appointments were timely,services are excellent example DNA testing is an excellent additive for tolerance to certain drugs. Also the radiofrequency albation proceedure is right on and the pain in that area of my body os non existant.Good shot with the needle doc.

THE PAIN INSTITUTE IS A WONDERFUL OFFICE. THE STAFF IS SO KIND AND UNDERSTANDING TO MY NEEDS. EVERYONE WAS CARING, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING ME BE PAIN FREE. I AM SO RELIEVED. AND THANK YOU TO AMELIA, WITH MY FIRST INJECTION SHE STAYED WITH ME BECAUSE I WAS SO NERVOUS. I REALLY APPRECIATED THE CARE. ALSO THE RECEPTION AREA THE GIRLS WERE SWEET AND NICE TO SEE WORKERS SMILE LIKE LINDSEY.
