Dr. Enrico Gaspar, MD

I wouldn't recommend going to Dr.Gaspar for mental health. I was checked for track marks on my arms and they checked my eyes as if I was on drugs just for explaining I had a mental illness and wasn't feeling well. The whole appointment was an interrogation and he never showed any actual care about my mental state. Felt like I was persecuted for having a mental illness. Instead of taking the time to listen and understand me, I left feeling even worse than when I arrived. The appointment abruptly ended while I was apologizing that I had seemed to have angered or annoyed him. Maybe he is great with other kinds of health care but from my experience, go to a specialist for more nuanced help.

He goes above and beyond making sure you get the best experience possible. If they are ever an issue he’s addressing it as soon as he is aware Nurse ,nurse practitioner outstanding

He has been my doctor for several years. I love him and his nurse alone with all the staff. When leaving message they get back to me quickly. At appointments with either him or his nurse they listen to my problems ans concerns and spends as much time as needed. Time in the office is never too long. I would recommend him and his office to anyone.

On top of everything else I reported as if that was not enough: this Dr kept screwing up my meds. He knew what my meds were, I gave him a list of them that I had been taking for many years from my Dr in Pell City, Al. Giving credit where credit is due, Dr Gaspar did try to chg a med for me because what I was taking was no longer giving me the energy it used to. Well, my Ins wouldn't pay for it and I couldn't afford it. I made more than one phone call to my Ins trying to find out what needed to be done and by this time I didn't have any of my med I so desperately needed! The Ins. Co. tells me that they have sent a prior authorization form for the doctor to fill out & send back. Finally the authorization got done and I still couldn't afford it @140.00 per month. So I told Dr Gaspar if he didn't have any other meds in mind for me, just give me back old med. (By this time, I was forced to be without my med for a whole month!) Then he screws up my nerve med costing 80.00 what was 28.00.

Dr. Gaspar, as well as his Nurse Practitioner, and their whole staff behind the scenes are a rare breed these days. Dr. Gaspar is patient, listens, answers questions, is up to date on your medical history, just a genuinely fantastic doctor. His Nurse Practitioner is the best I've ever seen. The office staff is always on top of things, and everyone is just so nice! I'm so glad they've opened their newest location in Altoona!

I believe I have the best doctor ever. He's very patient and looks for my best interest. Has kept me well and out of the hospital for over 2 years. I have referred him to many friends. My daughter also goes to him now and has found out what is also wrong with. Her.
