Dr. Emily Welker, MD

Today was my first time seeing Dr. Welker and I am extremely satisfied with my experience. If I could recommend her to everyone, I would. She is very thorough, welcoming, and has a comforting bedside manner. Thank you Dr. Welker for making this appointment so smooth.

Dr Welker took the time necessary to explain my options and the procedure. She made sure I understood everything that was going to happen and was very comforting and supportive. She took her time answering all my questions and concerns. Her friendly manner put me at ease and I would highly recommend her.

My cancer diagnosis came at a very stressful point in my life. My husband was very ill and in the hospital. Dr. Welker was very kind, patient, compassionate and reassuring through out my whole journey.She gives you needed information and will answer any questions you may have about anything.I felt very blessed to have her as my doctor and surgeon.

Dr Welker is one of the most compassionate, professional and knowledgeable physicians I have ever been to . I feel so privileged to have found her during as frightening a period of time in my life. Not only did I feel comfortable with her approach to the surgery she performed on me but she had no hesitation in responding to me, who is a diagnosed Anxiety and panic patient who im sure was not easy to put at ease but she did. The surgery she performed was perfect.

Dr. Welker did a biopsy on me and also breast surgery. Both went well. She did a beautiful job. She is always thoughtful and caring. She takes time to answer all my questions. She even called me at home at 8 PM one evening to give me the pathology results that she knew I would be relieved to hear. She was always available if I had any concerns or questions. Her staff was always nice and helpful too. My husband thinks that she is the nicest doctor that he has ever met, and so do I! I would definitely recommend Dr. Welker.

Dr. Welker went over with me about my cancer type and options and my surgery she also recommended what option to choose and explained why. She not only explained but also was drawing what she explained. She answered all my ? I could tell she really was compassionate to her patients. She came by to see me b4 my surgery to tell me few more things while holding my hand. And also stopped by when I was in recovery. As for my wound from surgery it was about 2 inches long and A very thin line. Which told me she really cared about how it would look when healed. Also I had no pain at all after surgery and healing. All in all everything went well . I can tell you that Dr. Welker is the nicest Doctor I have ever had, her personality is outstanding, thank you for all that you do.

Dr. Welker explained not only my condition but also treatments and the different possible scenarios. The surgery went smoothly and she made herself accessible both before and after surgery to answer any questions and address concerns. She made this cancer diagnosis easier to handle.
