One of my favorite colleagues!
I am a neuropsychologist in Mount Pleasant and have shared patients with Dr. Mika for years. She is an amazing physician! Her patient notes and referrals are extremely thorough and she is a careful and conscientious provider. In reading her notes, she obviously cares a great deal about each individual patient and I strongly recommend her if you are looking for a primary care physician!

I would not even recommend her to my worst enemy
Dr. Mika is dismissive and condescending. I could not finish my sentence. She made me feel like I am an idiot, and I was wasting her precious time. If you are looking for a doctor with compassion, I would not see her.

Worst doctor ever. She yanked me off of my meds, didn’t even try to come up with a solution or alternative and sent me away crying. She should not be allowed to interact with other humans and you definitely should not want to interact with her. She is not my doctor, her staff screwed up and scheduled me with her and she blamed me. She also blamed me for cancelling an appointment but her staff told me the doctor (not her) could not see me because I had a cold, yes, the doctor wouldn’t see me because I was sick. I told them I had two COVID tests and was fully vaccinated and they still said I could not come in. It was fine, I thought, because I wasn’t feeling well and just wanted to rest. To sum it up, she blamed me for all of the clerical errors in the past, took me off of my meds and did not even discuss a solution to treat my medical condition. This review is actually very nice considering what happened today. There are great doctors in that practice and she is not one of them.

The worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. She was not kind or empathetic, and her interrogatory manner of asking questions was very uncomfortable. I couldn't get a word in edge wise. I left the office crying.

Worst experience with a doctor that I have ever had. Very dismissive and in a hurry to diagnose without completely listening/examining a patient. Her treatment choice was very risky considering my individual health situation and was documented incorrectly as well. Received a second opinion later that day that was in complete disagreement and felt her treatment choice was dangerous.
