I was impressed with Dr. Martin. She was very patient, and very knowledgeable about my condition. She took the time to explain my results, and her plan for treatment. I recommend her very highly.

just not nice
She comes off angry and condescending toward me every time i go in. My PCP could prescribe the same medications, but Butler Health System forces your PCP to send you to their specialists so they can glean more from the health insurance. You have to go back to be seen to continue getting prescriptions filled and to be told you are fat and treated like an idiot that cant make instantaneous lifestyle changes. Making your patients dread coming back in to see you is a poor way to motivate a person to continue a new health routine. Gave a 3 star mainly cause i am getting what i need in general to continue fighting diabetes and because the previous doctor, Eva Toth, was far worse.

Will not be going back…
I drove an hour and a half to see this doctor. She seemed annoyed that she had to deal with me and talked to me as though I was incompetent. No empathy whatsoever. Acted disgusted when I said I seemed to be sweating more than usual lately and was immediately told I was overweight and given a script for a weight loss pill. It was obvious she didn’t care. I would advise looking elsewhere.
