Dr. Emily Linklater, DO

She did surgery to remove 3 fibroids in my uterus in 2018. She was very nice and understanding of me. I liked her the very first time I met her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. I would go to her again anytime.

i experienced intense abdominal pelvic pain in 2021 following a painful traumatic LEEP procedure from Linklater. didnt use enough anaesthetic i could feel everything, i screamed at the top of my lungs. after initial LEEP recovery, linklater continually brushed the following intense pelvic pain off for a month, saying it was normal. i consented to a laproscopy surgery to look for endometriosis. she (or somebody) scheduled the appointment without my knowledge, i found out via calling to check when i was scheduled. (it was scheduled for that very day.. lucky i called.)i rushed to surgery, went under, and when i came back up it was found that i had a burst ovarian cyst that had leaked into my pelvis. i got no antibiotics and developed a minor infection in one of my laproscopic incisions. i was so upset and immediately switched hospitals actually. i went through months and months of horrible pain and i have big trust issues with doctors now. advocate for yourself. always.

I got her name from a friend, had a hysterectomy, and was very pleased. I drove over 1 hour to see her.

I used to love Dr. Linklater, but I went in to have my UD switched out in 2020 and had a horrible experience. When I made the appointment, I spoke to a nurse about the excruciating pain I had experienced with my first IUD (different doc) and she told me she was “shocked” to hear that, it’s so unusual to experience pain. I was told to take ibuprofen before the procedure. I went in and told Dr. Linklater how scared I was about the previous experience with pain and she said that it would be fine. It was NOT fine, it was the most painful and traumatizing thing medical procedure I’ve ever experienced. Then, while shaking and bawling on the table, Dr. Linklater and the nurse tell me “it’s ok, you’re having a totally normal and common response to the procedure.” What? Where was the pain management? The honesty? The empathy, help, care? I barely walked out crying and I don’t think I can ever go back. Women’s pain MUST be taken seriously.

I saw Dr. Linklater for a consult about sterilization and didn’t have high hopes for her agreeing as I am unmarried, haven’t already had any children, and am under 30 years old. I told her I wanted to be sterilized and she was happy to discuss options with me. There was no questioning, no probing into reasons I wanted to do it, no judgement.She did my surgery last year and I could not be happier. This was my fourth laparoscopic surgery and the most major surgery I’ve had (she removed my uterus, tubes, ovaries, and cervix) but the recovery was a breeze and I thank her skill for this. She is so sweet and caring and is a great example of a doctor who works with you to reach your goal. I recommend her whether you need routine OBGYN services or you’re looking for a childfree-friendly surgeon. Her professionalism is unmatched and she is wonderful.

Dr. Linklater listened to all of my concerns and offered reasonable approaches to help with each of them! I did not feel rushed and could tell she is very invested in what she does as an OBGYN!

I've had a very rough first trimester with extreme morning sickness. Dr. Linklater response so quickly, she will always find an appointment time for me, and helps me to decide the best route I'd like to go. She truly cares and it shows. I won't go to anyone else for my pregnacies.

Absolutely amazing. Phenomenal surgeon and a wonderful person as well. Dr Linklater will help you understand every detail and option until you are completely comfortable. Extremely knowledgeable and prepared for all outcomes. She outshines every doctor I have ever encountered. I cannot say enough good things about her!

Dr. Linklater is an exceptional OB. She was friendly, kind and informative--and she spent an impressive amount of time with me. I am so thrilled to have found her for my OB professional. I highly recommend her!!!
