I went to Dr. Johnson due to chronic low back pain. Imaging shows nothing much wrong and I've tried many avenues of treatment. My PCP referred me to her and at upon trying to tell my story at the very first she cut me off and said in a frustrated manner "I just need to know what didn't work". She did her thing and I didn't feel any different so I didn't come back. Months later I came back looking for help even though I previously felt off put by Dr. Johnson. This time she seemed a little more willing to listen (barely) but a bit more. After 2 visits when I said I still had alot pain she said "you don't have to keep coming back if it's not working" I said well what do you recommend excercises? any other treatment methods? I'm lost and scared and don't know what to do and she said "that referall will have to come from your PCP". Keep in mind my PCP referred me to her. It is a healthcare providers responsibility to help their patients find the care they need and deserve.
