Dr. Emily Compton, MD

Dr Compton was the emergency room physician when I was brought in by ambulance from 50 miles away on a dark night over snow covered roads. In my opinion she was over her head in the treating the type of injury I had and she was going to implement a completely unnecessary procedure which would have delayed repair surgery for at least three weeks exposing me unnecessarily to infection. I stopped her which resulted in her refusal to admit us into the hospital. She advised through another doctor that if she was not operating she was not admitting me. She obviously then wanted us to drive home in difficulty conditions with no ability to move on my newly broken leg. I had no crutches or walker to move. In my opinion Dr Compton should not be permitted to function as an emergency room physician nor should she be permitted to develop surgical solutions in areas that are over her head
