I was having an allergic reaction to something, and waited for just over a month to be seen by this doctor. I wondered if I might be allergic to soy. I came in for an allergy test, but she wouldn’t give me one. Instead, she wanted to start giving me allergy shots. I asked for an allergy test first, and she had seemed irritated from the get-go, but then became very condescending. I think it’s common sense to get a basic allergy test first, before getting shots. She refused to give me the allergy test, which I still don’t understand. It was a total waste of time, and was also an unpleasant experience. I went and to a different allergist, immediately got an allergy test, and it turns out I am just allergic to soy. Now I’m fine without needing any allergy shots. I do not recommend this doctor.

Went to learn more about my allergic reactions and hopefully figure out specifically what I was allergic too. I spent close to 2 hours in the office and found out nothing more than what I already knew. No tests were even done to try and figure out what I was allergic too. It just felt like a big waste of time and money honestly.

Dr Ashida saved my life. 25 years ago. I just remarried and had 2 young children. I almost called 911. Made an appointment with Dr. Ashida, took me immediately and after trying different methods to help me breathe but no improvement. She sent me home with a nebulizer and instructed me to breathe the saline solution every hour for 5 hours. She said she would call and check on me and if I was still having trouble, go to emergency. She called me. I was breathing better. I had an appointment to test what I was allergic to. She made the perfect medication for me and every week I dropped by to receive my shots. I did this for many years. The quality of my life has improved. I eventually did not need shots nor use inhalers. If it wasn’t for Dr Ashida’s care, I wouldn’t be enjoying my granddaughters Alani 6yrs and Akemi 2 yrs. today.. I am grateful. Thank you Dr Ashida.

This is the best doctors office I have come across in years. Dr. Ashida and her team (Janet and others) are the most professional, kind and responsive healthcare professionals you could imagine. The American healthcare system can be confusing and frustrating. Dr. Ashida and her team are always there by your side to navigate you through all of it. I came to Dr. Ashida with a severe condition and now I’m practically healed thanks to a medication that she was able to get for me without me having to pay anything out of pocket. They have the kind of dedication to customer service that you only know from big, great brands: Open on Saturdays and an online platform where you get replies to your questions within hours. Dr. Ashida is extremely hardworking and truly cares about helping people. I can highly recommend her.
