When looking for a vascular surgeon, I read reviews and selected Dr. Sambol solely based on his VERY positive feedback. Now that he has completed treatment for the issues that brought me to him, I can happily share that it was also a great experience for me. Dr Sambol patiently answered my initial questions, calmed my nerves throughout the procedure, then followed up with a final visit to verify success. Great experience!

Dr. Sambol treated my varicose veins in both my legs. I was in pain for many years and had a lot of bumps on both legs. He took time to explain each procedure. Since my treatments, my legs not only look better, but also the swelling (bumps) have gone down and also the swelling in my ankles are gone. I do a lot of walking at my job and I am no longer in any pain from my veins. Also, the office staff is extremely friendly!

Dr. Sambol may well be a decent doctor. How would I know? My appointment time? 2:15. I arrived at 2:00. At 2:40 I still hadn't been called in to see the doctor. The waiting room was packed. Another man said his appointment was at 1:45 and he still hadn't been called. Same with the women next to him. I asked the receptionist when I might be called. She checked and said there were five people ahead of me in the waiting room, not counting the people stacked up in examining rooms. It would be at least another hour. Total waiting time from appointment time? 1 1/2 hours estimated before being even called. No thanks. I left. So did another patient who'd been waiting since 1:30. This is the second visit I've had to this practice (the last one to his partner, Dr. Goldfarb). Same thing. Nearly 2 hr wait last time. No respect for their patients. I'll happily go elsewhere.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Sambol to anyone who has a DVT! He responded to a request from the ER docs at Princeton and left his family on a religious holiday to diagnose me. My DVT was extremely serious and w/o his quick diagnosis I may have been looking at a very bad outcome. He takes the time to inform you and offers his best resolution to get you back on your feet ASAP. I am grateful and thank him for being there for me through a very difficult time!

I didn’t expect to have a massive DVT at the age of 27, but I’m so grateful my surgeon was Dr. Sambol. He clearly explained the procedure to me beforehand, and his knowledge and confidence made me feel safe. He performed a thrombectomy and inserted a stent and IVC filter. He said that most surgeons wouldn’t have bothered to put in the filter, but he did, and that probably saved my life. He even took the time to update my husband and answer his questions as soon as my surgery was done. Less than 2 weeks later, I’m walking around pain-free and on my way to recovery, and I attribute this to the skill and knowledge of Dr. Sambol.

His transparency, professionalism, and genuine concern for his patients is unprecedented. Dr. Sambol, along with his colleague, Dr. Pinero, have restored my Dad’s hope and trust in our medical professionals. You will forever remain in our prayers along with the hospital nurses whose care and performance are unprecedented.

Dr. Sambol is the best. After having 3 kids, I had issues with varicose veins in both legs, and had varithena treatment done in the office. I could not be happier with the outcome. In addition to being excellent at what he does, Dr. Sambol is kind, listens, and always explains everything thoroughly. I would highly recommend him!

Dr sambol is excellent. I had a venous ablation done on my left leg. He explained the entire procedure very well after I had my first initial ultrasound as to what was the procedure was and why I needed it done. When surgery day came he talked to me during the procedure made me feel at ease because he told me what he was doing during each step. He also talked with me after the surgery and told me how to properly care for stitches and as to wear my compression stockings. I would highly recommend Dr. Sambol for all your varicose vein needs!!!!!

I saw Dr. Sambol for bilateral venous insufficiency. He treated me with laser therapy and the results are terrific. Prior to the procedure I had this constant feeling of achiness and fullness in my lower legs and I would wear compression hose to keep it at bay. Now I don’t have to wear compression stockings except when I feel like I want that extra support (planes, long meetings, etc.). I recommend Dr. Sambol 100%. You won’t be sorry.

Within just a few months of outpatient surgical treatments, he literally reduced my long-standing varicose vein issues (both legs) to what now resemble only a minor concern. I had an ablation procedures on both legs and I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Sambol was so kind and explained the procedure thoroughly prior to the procedure in terms I could understand. I had to cancel a follow up appointment because he was delayed in surgery and I couldn’t believe it but he called after hours to apologize and also reviewed the ultrasound testing I had prior. He went up and beyond. I asked him to be my primary physician but he graciously declined. Definitely one of a kind!

Genius vascular surgeon! In emergency situations he twice saved my leg from amputation from severe arterial blood clots. Great guy and very talented.
