Misdiagnosed by Dr. Goodman
A while back, I was treated by Dr. Goodman in the ER at NJUMC- thought I was having a heart attack. With only an x-ray- no medical history interview or breathing test – he diagnosed me with COPD. He dropped that news at 3 am and left me there on the table. It didn’t make sense- I’m a runner and I don’t smoke cigarettes. So I got myself to Columbia Presbyterian in NYC. The doctor laughed at the ineptitude and reassured me that you can’t diagnose COPD from an x-ray- stomach acid had gotten in my lungs and it looked like a heart attack. All I needed was apple cider vinegar.If you have to see Dr. Goodman in ER, be sure to get a second opinion.
