Dr. Ellie Fishbein, MD

Dr. Fishbein was very good. She was compassionate, listened to all my concerns and came up with a great plan with me.

She was excellent, compassionate, listened to all my concerns and had great insight into my concerns. I look forward to working with her.

The Medical Assistant took my weight, temperature, & blood pressure & then we went into the exam room, & she typed in the reason for my visit. Then, Dr. Fishbein came in & asked me “How can I help you?” which tells me she didn’t even look at what the person had typed in as the reason for my visit. It felt like I was talking to a salesperson at a department store. So, I repeated what I had told the Medical Assistant & asked her if the supervising staff physician was coming in next. Then, she asked “What for?” with an attitude like I had insulted her, which seems unprofessional. She should care more about the patient than her ego. I responded by saying “to oversee your assessment and diagnosis.” She said Yes, a staff physician was supervising residents, but not coming in, implying that she thought she didn’t need any supervising even though she is still a resident. Then, she got up & said to me “Let’s go” & we went to the checkout & told the person “He wants a staff physician” & left.
