Good Experience
6/21/23 visited their Dallas Office on Lovers Lane. It was lovely. Choice of taking stairs or elevator to the 2nd floor. Staff greeted me nicely, the wait wasn't that long, and I was taken to a lovely room. I provided my concerns and Taylor, Dr. T's assistant was nice, polite and professional. I met with Dr. Turner who explained my options clearly and referred me to another doctor for one of my issues not covered there. My other issue was minor, but important to me and Dr. Turner and Taylor were very kind, and the injections really didn't hurt that much at all. I'll be returning for another treatment next month and look forward to it. A few days later, I noticed a billing error occurred and their staff researched, admitted there was an error and fixed it. I had a nice experience.

Bad Experience-
I had a very disappointing experience at Dr. Turner's office. Her nurse struck the same vein 3 times and left a massive bruise of which I did advise the office about. I asked to have Dr. Turner call me back to discuss the situation. An office mg called back and I felt like I was gaslighted. I was led to believe that it was normal for bruising even though I have never been struck 3 times on the same vein. Mistakes happen & the mistake made here was choosing the wrong office. Dr. Turner to this day has never called to apologize for the grief her nurse and office staff put me through. Furthermore, I waited over 4 months to leave this review as I believe in giving people a chance to rectify their mistakes. Out of professional respect I won't post pictures of the bruises left on my arm. I do believe in speaking out against being mistreated which is why I hope this encourages others to not stay quiet. And Dr. Turner I hope you find the time to fix the mistakes your staff makes

Negative Experience - Waited 4 months to Leave thi – Feb 14, 2023

Staff only does CYA
From my experience, the staff only care about CYA. Dr. Ellen Turner performed a procedure that has forever left me scarred and in pain. When I told them about it, they rushed me out the door and never offered to help. They don't want to do the right thing. Do not trust this doctor. Do your research, and don't just go to a doctor because they have high reviews.

Do not trust Dr. Ellen Turner for your medical needs. Dr. Turner permanently destroyed the sensory nerve in my left calf. During a routine procedure, Dr. Turner used a hyfrecator and cauterized my nerve. I am in pain every day of my life. I can't feel the left side of my foot, and there is the constant feeling of numb tingling all day, every day. This case was validated by three doctors: a radiologist, a neurosurgeon and a plastic surgeon. There is nothing that can be done since the nerve was burned. To add salt to the wound, Dr. Turner's office sent me to collections for services I never received. If you value your body and your credit score, I recommend you seek medical help elsewhere.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. GOOD DOCTOR. My experience over the years is the doctor is good. But her staff is rude. I could not take it recently and just walked out of the exam room. The office manager never called back. It's too bad because we like the doctor. But her staff and especially the nurse was not courteous to me and tried to take 3 concerns and break them into 3 office visits. One of the concerns was just a refill. We are not happy with this treatment and seeking dermatology care elsewhere.

Short. In 3 visits I’ve seen her 1x for maybe 5 min (30 min after my appointment time). She spouted off almost word for word info from the brochure her nurse had me read right before she came in. Did not let me talk or ask questions and then left me with the nurse again. At a follow-up appointment no one was at reception and I waited for 10 min before someone came to check me in. I never saw the doctor Basically I felt like the last priority and she did not care to take the time to do he job and help me because I was not there for a big, fancy, money-making cosmetic procedure.

My husband and I have both been patients of Dr. Turner for many years, for visual exams of our skin and occasional removal of problematic growths. She is one of the few Dermatologists in the DFW area that accept TRICARE (insurance for active and retired military). The care we have received has always been top notch and she is a very caring and through professional, as is all her staff. Highly recommend!.

I scheduled with Dr. Turner as she has wonderful Health Grade reviews. Unfortunately, I was unable to even see her due to an hour wait time. I was then told that this was just a consultation and I would have to come back for my main reason to see her. Extremely disappointed that an hour of my time was wasted and I was not even going to be seen for my concern.

If I could provide a lower score I would. If you have any sort of painful itchy rash, this is not the place for you. I went to Dr. Turner's office 6 days ago and still haven't received my prescription. The pharmacy that they recommended me to use is "mail order". They charged my card and assured me that the medication would arrive within 1-2 days. 6 days later and no meds. They advised me that they ran out and apologized for not notifying me. In the meantime, I call Dr. Turner to ask to p
