Dr. Ellen Rothman, MD

Dr. Rothman seems to specialize in pediatrics but I requested an appointment with adult primary care and she was the one who saw me. I had been dealing with a debilitating neurological condition for over 6 years, had been referred to neurologist by other physicians and not a single person tried to pu a little bit of effort, they simply "threw the ball" at each other. The first time I went to see Dr Rothman I remember being very emotional, I cried and begged for help, she listened and after my little rant she told me we had to have a plan and and fist she sent me to have extensive work to make sure the specialists had enough evidence to really help me. She made referrals to neurologist and neurosurgeon as well, several weeks later the results of the MRI were sent back and doctor said he could not see anything on them, Dr. Rothman kept trying, sent me to do more testing and made sure I also had a neurosurgeon consult, long story short thanks to Dr. Rothman I was given a new opportunity i

This dr js not what she makes herself out to be. She fails to do her job in multiple ways including not sending prior authorizations to receive medications and she also likes to abrubtly stop medications wich can be depermentional to ones health and she doesnt take that into consideration. Ive been wprse off dealing with this dr and searching for another dr. Very dissapointing!
