Dr. Ellen Parrill, MD

Maybe she is good at what she does in terms of procedures. But she is rather cold, and as others have said, doesn't seem to listen. As a young woman who looks younger than her age, she was condescending to me and I choose to not see her again.

Dr. Parrill is wonderful. I highly recommend her. She performed a laparoscopic hysterectomy because of my scarring from previous C-Sections. She took the time to come out of surgery to give an update to my family. She is very professional and clearly explains what she is going to do prior to surgery. I was back on my feet within a few days. Love Dr. P. and I am thankful she was able to help me!

Highly recommended, great listener, very devoted to her patients. She takes the time to answer your questions n if u have doubts or don’t understands what she is talking about she takes the extra time to explain the situation not matter how long it takes.

Dr. Parrill has seen me through 3 c-section surgeries or our 3 daughters (2003, 2006 & 2007) and also 3 miscarriages. The entire staff has always been so compassionate, supportive and incredibly understanding, and they all were particularly patient with me when I had some tough things to go through. The kindness Dr. Parrill and her office always offer was and continues to be priceless to me knowing that I am always in such capable hands - whenever I walk through their door I am at ease. Cannot say enough good things! Thank you ladies for all the many years of great care.

I do not recommend Dr. Parrill! I had a lump and she wouldn't send me for a mammogram until it was my annual checkup time... Almost 3 months later. The cancer had spread to my lymph nodes by then. Just horrid. Double mastectomy and Chemo. May have all been avoided if she would have just sent me! Especially because I had cancer before! Every medical professional I saw was shocked that she didn't send me immediately. Do not go to her!

Dr Parrill was wonderful. I was in and out of the office in a few short minutes. She was very respectful and did exactly what we had spoke about at my previous appointment! Love her!

I have never felt so offended and disrespected before by a doctor. I saw her while my regular doctor was out on leave and she refused to refill my medication that my normal doctor regularly does, she told me she wasn't refilling anything for me and that I could get with Dr. Dickey when he returned. She also told me that she didn't believe me when I said that I had a miscarriage. She said she believed I had an abortion and laughed at me. I left out crying. I will never see this doctor ever again.

Dr Parrill was very persistent in diagnosing my cancer. I believe she saved my life. Love her!!!

I needed someone to give me advice and options. She gave me two options, gave me medicine that i am NOT allowed to be on because it conflicts with one of my major medications, and didn't care. She said we could either take out my implant or I could deal with the side effects and suck it up or take the meds that would jeapordize my mental health. I left bawling and went to find a new doctor who would help me. DO NOT GO TO THIS LADY. She does not care!

I wish I could give 0 stars. She tells you what to do and does not talk to you about options. I was put on a birth control that I should have never had put in me. She should have known better. She also would not help when I asked for help or options to fix the horrible side effects it caused. She wrote a prescription for something she knows I'm not allowed to be on because it conflicts with other meds I am on. I found a new doctor who spoke for 30 min about options. Never going back to Parrill.
