Dr. Ellen Miele, MD

Doctor is good, however, her practice "Spring Lake Pediatrics" has front desk staff (Kathy Ann in particular) who just isn't friendly or kind at all with adults and children (not only mine ( who is a sweet 3 y/0 btw); I've seen how she interacts with others as well) . They also aren't flexible to squeeze you in, in the event that your child would need to come in for a sickness. Beware: if your child is hesitant to come in; they aren't flexible on time at all and you will lose your appointment if you are even just 5 min late ( I mean, with adults I would understand, but with children, they should really have more flexibility or they don't deserve to serve this population in my opinion). Also, they only have one waiting room- they don't separate wellness from sick patients, and their individual patient rooms are the tiniest I have ever see. There is no room to put your baby car carrier or even your diaper bag other than on the floor. I will not be staying.

Dr. Miele is hands down the best doctor I’ve come in contact with. My children saw her from the time I gave birth before she even started her office, till she had to give us the sad news “we aged out” still wish she was our doctor! Very companionate, gentle,, listens and makes sure all your questions and concerns are taken care of. Would be willing to pay out of pocket for my grandchild to see her!

She started seeing me as a 1lb 9oz baby in the NICU at Jersey Shore Medical Center and has continued seeing me through my teenage years as i am now about to turn 18. She has been nothing but wonderful to my family and I and has helped me through a lot.
