Dr Jost Vu is amazing! I have been seeing her for years and she has helped me get my thyroid medicine levels to a good spot. She has checked me closely since my thyroid cancer diagnosis 10 years ago. Would recommend her to someone looking for the best!

I saw her for a consult a couple of years ago. I can't believe she's still practicing. The entire appt. was a complete joke. She was checking my thyroid gland and had me undress and put on a paper gown!?!?! There was no office staff present and she was talking to herself. She spoke to me as if I was begging her to operate. Aw, no I practically ran out of that office, and they overcharged me by more than $100. Like I said, I'm surprised she is still practicing.

Dr. Jost-Vu is phenomenal. She is knowledgeable and cares enough to investigate what to do before repeating common pieces of advice that do not work for everyone. I found her to be the best endocrinologist in the area. Plus she is not condescending, a great trait!

I asked her if injecting HCG would shut down my natural leutenizing hormone production and she said "No I do not think so because they give it to people with low sperm count." lol this is the kind of people in charge of our healthcare. Be careful, do your research, after a month on HCG my LH went from being in the upper range to dropping down to zero. She also accused me of cheating my blood test and then I realized an ingredient in my preworkout causes thyroid levels to drop. "Healthcare!" -_-

Dr. Jost-Vu is great but I would have shut my mouth up a long time ago about increasing my thyroid medication if Dr. Jost-Vu would have told me that thyroxine turns the osteoblasts in the bones for the bones to be replaced by new bones and too much thyroxine causes the osteoblasts to turn too quickly causing bone loss due to the body not being able to replace the bones fast enough. I had to find this out on my own. I have severe depression and I needed the energy.

Dr. Jost-Vu is a very good doctor. She cares and she knows the truth about testosterone levels which many doctors are ignorant about. When she talks to you she looks like she geniunly cares about you. I just wish she would have told me that too much thyroid hormone turns the osteoblasts too fast and therefore does not allow the body to replace the bones fast enough leading to bone loss. If she would have told me this I would have shut up about increasing the dose on my thyroid medication.

I started seeing Dr. Yost-Vu about 3 years ago after having been with another diabetes doctor. My old doctor kept upping my meds, no good results. I went to Dr. Yost-Vu for a second opinion for my type 2 diabetes. She had me take a test, which the other doctor had not given me. She discovered my body was not producing any insulin and I was in fact type 1. She took me off the old med and put me on an insulin pump. I no longer take four shots per day and am doing very much better.
