Dr. Elizabeth White, MD

I was a patient for many years. She is absolutely GREAT. She is outstanding. We moved to Tennessee end of 2019 and changed insurance. I am moving back to Louisiana. One of my top 5 reasons is my doctors. Dr. White listens to you. Never rushes you and explains everything. I trust her implicitly!!!

Tried to switch to White as my PCP when my previous was out for an extended period of time. Received one phone call from her PA as initial contact. Could never get another return call from the office. Had elevated PSA noted in bloodwork and notified her office several times. No response. Developed shingles and needed follow-up with PCP within five days. Notified her office - no response. Only communication they seem to be willing to provide are general broadcasts regarding Covid . . . no longer my PCP.

I am very happy with Dr. White’s office. I have been under the care of Nurse Practitioner, Elizabeth Sims for some time now. I find her always to be cheery, responsive to my needs while always looking for those screening age markers which has my overall health in mind. I especially appreciate Elizabeth being open minded about any changes I may bring up and especially how she helps me navigate topics that apply to the “other specialists” that I also have to see in addition to their office. During this horrid COVID year, Elizabeth and this office has definitely been on top of keeping patients informed and healthy with telemedicine visits and impeccable office staffing practices. A+ office !!

Dr. White has done a remarkable job of keeping her patients up to date regarding the COVID 19 virus, while making herself and her NP's available through telemedicine and in person visits.

I couldn’t ask for a better GP than Dr. White. She is accessible, thorough, caring and is an “above and beyond” type of doctor in every sense of the phrase. I am not an “easy” patient; a decade of metastasized cancer and litany of related complex health issues has also involved me with a litany of medical specialists. Dr. White’s office has been wonderful as the “center point” of my overall health management - both responsively and proactively - while working and communicating smoothly with all my specialists and other providers. Nurse Practitioner Elizabeth Simms is exceptional as well: kind, caring, knowledgeable, and entirely “on the ball” all the time. I trust this Team implicitly. I also appreciate the office’s regular updates/ communication via newsletter, particularly keeping patients informed through the COVID-19 pandemic. I’ve had a few “nightmare” experiences elsewhere, but never anything but positive with Dr. White and her staff. She has my wholehearted recommendation.

Dr. White is a caring, extremely knowledgable physician who is willing to Listen to your concerns and questions ... She is open minded and adept at balancing your input along with her medical expertise in finding the best solution for You. Having consulted with her for more years than I can remember, I have recommended her to numerous friends and will continue to do so. I am most pleased with her staff as well as they have all been extremely patient and courteous.

Dr. White has cared for all four generations of our family for over twenty years. She has walked beside us through everything from the minors annoyances of health to the last days of old age and illness with genuine compassion. I highly recommend her as well as both of the nurse practitioners that are part of her team.

The staff is very professional and friendly. Dr. White does not rush through the visit with you. She is very thorough and asks a lot of questions and makes sure you understand whats going on.

Telehealth visits were made the same day, when i needed to come into the office i was advised of that and how to handle that during this pandemic. Getting the flu shot was a breeze, i stayed in my car and the nurse came to me. How quick and easy can that be!

For the first time in many years I felt that I was the only patient that mattered while being seen by Dr. White. Her full attention was given to me, and her office was full. I was not rushed, and I was very surprised by the level of care I was given. If I need immediate care, there is always a nurse practitioner that is very skilled, that give me the same level of care. I am very happy to share my opinion, and I hope to always be a part of her care family.
