Dr. Elizabeth Twardon, MD

Dr. Twardon is the most compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable and likeable doctor I've ever had. Most visits last 2 hours because she takes the time to investigate every area of physical and emotional health and offer specific advice for preventing and managing whatever challenges come up; I go home from most appointments with about 20 specific things to do, like wear compression hose to slow down varicose veins, exercise daily and use non-addictive Trazadone to improve sleep, visit specific stores that carry shoes to treat foot pain, eat fresh cherries to reduce arthritic pain, cure muscle cramps with magnesium, etc. She guessed early on that I had RA and got me quickly to a specialist since going untreated can lead to deformed joints, and she knows who the best local medical providers are. I'm one of the world's thriftiest people, and though Dr. Twardon is not covered by my insurance plans, I believe her expertise and support are worth every penny.
