Dr. Elizabeth Sack was an outstanding Physician. She cared for my husband, several friends and myself. What a loss that she is not with Elmhurst Hospital anymore. As far as Dr. Sack treating a patient badly, I never saw that. There are some issues dealing with GI system etc. that are made worse with weight issues. Elizabeth has always been Professional and caring with everyone that I know has gone to her.

She and her staff do not care about her patients. I was diagnosed 2 months ago and I am still not on medication, which is the only way to treat my condition. I am seeing a new doctor.

I saw this person a few years ago and the experience still sits with me to this day. She doesn’t deserve being called a physician. She was rude and condescending because I asked questions pertaining to my issue. She also has an aversion to overweight individuals and when explaing the reason for being overweight, (I can’t eat fruits and vegetables - the reason why I went to her), she laughed. She brushed off the GI problems I am experiencing in a cruel and belittling fashion,

I was admitted for a quite specific issue in the evening. The next morning Dr. Sack kindly entered the room to further assessment of my issue. We immediately disagreed about a device inserted in my body. This was the point Dr. Sack new everything and I new nothing. Treatment was essentially on target with the surgeon. The plan was changed by Dr.Sack and I complied. Suddenly the Surgeon entered my room upset Apparently he didn't change my treatment plan. Discharge occurred with issues looming.

I'm very partial to those who save my life and Dr Sack is a member of that small elite group. I went to the ER with rectal bleeding and had lost about 50% of my blood supply; she spent almost two hours cauterizing and clipping a dozen or so bleeders in my large intestine. T'was a near run thing. Aside from her obvious medical skills, she is very personable and has a good sense of humor. Highly recommend her.

She was extremely cold and unwilling to help treat my bleeding ulcer because I was a bit on the heavier side, despite my explanation of a recent diet change and successful weigh loss. I was referred to her when I had visited the ER for extreme back and stomach pain and bloody diarrehea. One would think the doctor would be a professional and set aside her personal feelings regarding my weight and assist me with my medical condition in helping minimizing my acid levels and scoping my upper GI trak
