Dr. Elizabeth Lieberman, MD

Dr. Lieberman is fantastic and has given me my active life back. She explained in detail the hip replacement procedure with expected results which made me feel especially comfortable about moving forward with the recommended treatment. The surgery was very quick, efficient, and done excellently. The recovery time was less than I was expecting and I was amazed how much my agility was restored so shortly after the surgery. I also appreciated her team being very helpful through the whole process and time and at the Center for Specialty Surgery

Through multiple misadventures, I've lost count of my orthopedic surgeries. I've been fortunate to have practitioners to include team surgeons from major college and professional sports teams, a host of specialists at OHSU for a Humpty Dumpty repair and others ranked at the top of their specialties. Elizabeth Lieberman eclipses them all. I have had a hip and knee replacement by Dr. Lieberman in the past nine months. With both I was able to walk and ultimately recovered in half the time the literature projected or I would I have expected myself. She is equally adept with patient relations. Whether a pre-op or post-op appointment, there is a feeling of being the only patient she has to see that day. Nothing is rushed. What to expect before, during and after surgery is clearly and patiently explained. Every question or concern is attentively addressed. She exudes kindness.I could go on but am running out of allowed characters. In a word, she is Mozart.

I had a good first appointment with Dr. Lieberman regarding right knee pain. Her interpretation of the x-rays and recommended course of action were clear.I won’t be able to act on her recommendation for another year due To some other health complications, but I feel good about the path that we are on.

Dr. Lieberman is the best. She is experienced, educated in new and difficult procedures and compassionate to boot!She is amazing in all ways. You can be confident you are receiving the very best care with her and her team.I've been in her care multiple times and I could not be more satisfied. I am so thankful to have found her!

Dr Lieberman is a compassionate provider who listens to my concerns and then asks questions. No rush, so we examine together all options for my knee pain relief. She made me feel very comfortable that my knee treatments were in good hands. We’ll work to manage my pain first, and then consider surgery later after the less invasive options are explored first. Dr. Lieberman had read my notes and after showing me the X-rays and explaining what we saw, she gave me options regarding the next step and even ended up referring me to a back Doctor. I was so impressed with the ideas that she had for me moving forward, she was sincerely wanting what worked best for me. Wish I had found her long ago.

Dr. Lieberman performed a very complicated hip replacement revision after I fell, broke my femur and dislocated my hip replacement. I fell on a Friday, so Dr. Leiberman had to come in on Sunday to perform the surgery. It’s a difficult surgery, more complex than a planned hip replacement. Also, the femur had more breaks than the hospital x-ray showed, so the surgery became more complicated after it started. Dr. Lieberman did a brilliant job, as the post-surgery x-rays demonstrate. I just finished my three week postop visit with Dr. Leiberman, and she was patient and clear in explaining the surgery, encouraging to me in my recovery, gave me a helpful roadmap of what to expect. I could not be happier. I have had several other surgeries with highly competent surgeons, but no one has been as compassionate and kind and good at communication in a holistic way as Dr. Lieberman has been. I highly recommend her!

Dr Lieberman was very thorough and professional in her assessment and evaluation of my knee pain and its similarities to me right knee fore replacement. She carefully and confidently went through all of the X-rays and where there were concerns. She gave me a thorough explanation of all of the possible reasons for the pain. She followed with 3 different options and suggested we start with the simplest and safest procedure, check the results in 30 days, and then see where we are at. Dr Lieberman gave me a cortisone shot in my left knee and said we will see if that worked like it has in the past.The entire face to face with Dr Lieberman was done very professionally and courteously in every step of the way. She was open to my every question and responded to all of them and to my satisfaction in every way.She spent all the time that I wanted and needed for this interaction. I would highly recommend her for anyone and their needs.

Saw this wonderful doctor for an opinion on a fx knee injury that’s over 5 months healing. It hasn’t felt right, recovery not going so well. She reviewed X-rays, immediately ordered an MRI scheduled 2 days later. Couldn’t get my previous PA to even show my X-rays to an MD. I feel as if progress has been made with Dr. Lieberman, I know she will help me in formulating a plan to get my knee back in fully operational order. Grateful for her very kind assistance.

I was referred to Dr Leiberman after fracturing my femur in 2 places. I just had my first appointment, and I’m comfortable with her treatment plan. She explained herself very well, and I’m confident I’m on the right path. The x-ray department were very patient and careful, as I was dealing with a lot of pain. The front desk was also courteous and helpful.

I met previously with a different surgeon at another facility regarding hip arthritis, but was unhappy with that office's communications. Selected Dr. L based on her education, experience, and reviews. I was able to get an appointment promptly. Dr. L's competence and demeanor inspired confidence. Team was also good. Hip replacement went well, and recovery is proceeding nicely.

I initially was referred to Dr. Lieberman because of ongoing hip pain. Through x-rays. She found the cartilage in my hip was pretty much nonexistent. She completed a complete anterior hip replacement from which I am mostly recovered now. Her along with everyone on her team always provided me with the very best care and treatment and respect. I truly recommend her if you ever, find yourself having trouble with your hips.

I recently had a knee replacement done by Dr. Leiberman. She is an excellent surgeon and did an amazing job. Her team is very responsive and helpful too.

This is my first knee replacement that Dr Lieberman and her care team performed I am so very thankful how she took the time out to perform the surgery and she's very compassionate and always have a smile on her face and she show concerns about how you feel I would recommend family and friends to. This is my second hip replacement with Dr. Lieberman. Everything about her and the entire staff at Orthopedic & Fractures and the surgery center are first rate. Informative, reliable, caring, competent, and happy. I couldn’t be more pleased with the procedures and outcomes. If I had another hip, I’d do it again.
