Lacks attention to detail
I have seen Dr. Flax 3 times and all 3 times she made a mistake. One of those was she wrote a prescription for a sulfa based medication and it has been in my mercy chart for over 12 years that I am allergic to anything sulfa based. I am the one that caught the error after I picked it up. It took 3 days for her to respond to a request to change it. On another visit she was to order an exray of my hips, she ordered it for my knees. She is very personable but not detail oriented as you would expect from a physician.

My Doctor in Kansas
I really miss this doctor when you’re talking to her she has a plan. And she writes everything down and then ask you did she take care of before you leave. She is excellent articulate particular and like I said, I really miss her here because she was an excellent doctor. I had cancer and heart problems and an auto immune disease. She did such a good job.

ONLY GO TO FOR MINOR ILLNESS
This was my second unhappy visit with Dr. Wink. I come from a family of healthcare workers and doctors. I understand everyone has bad days so I returned to see her again this year. She doesn’t seem to want to listen to what your concerns truly are. I was simply back because I had to readdress what I had previously went to her for a year ago that was swept under the rug. Most people don’t go to the doctor unless they are concerned. Do not go to her if you are concerned because you will leave feeling even more distraught. I left with referrals this time. She definitely does not make you feel confident in her care when she can only write referrals and can’t answer many questions. I truly hoped this visit would be better. But I do want to make sure it’s known that the office staff, nurses, and techs are absolutely amazing.

Saw dr. Wink for the first time today. She was very rude, condescending, prying, and the least of these, she had no personality. She made fun of me and made me feel like I was less a person and quite worthless to be honest. I would never return to her. She is fired.

We moved from out of state and were referred to Dr. Wink. She is very professional and thorough in her evaluation and assessment of my family's health issues. I also enjoy how engaging she is with my daughter. The only complaint I would have is the referrals have not reached out to me like I was told. I have had to find out who I was referred to and initiate the call and follow-up appointments. Not a knock on Dr. Wink, but somewhere in the process something falls though.
