Dr. Elizabeth Davis, MD

I drive an hour just to see Dr. Davis. She has been the best doctor I have ever had! There are plenty of Doctors where I currently live, but I'd rather drive the hour to get her care.

I was pleased with Dr. Davis until she showed frustration and started practicing medicine on her agenda. She also told me she was going to use "tough love" medicine on me and I needed to try harder. It was at this time I lost my trust in her as my PCP. I didn't think she had my best medical interest in her agenda.

Dr. Davis has been our family doctor for 3 years. My daughter and I were looking for a new physician when she was pregnant and choose to visit Dr. Davis and were immediately put at ease. She listened to our concerns, gave educated and thoughtful answers and spoke 'to us' not 'at us' with terminology that was clear and understood. We never feel rushed, are comfortable speaking with her about very personal issues and have never felt judged, dismissed or insulted. I have and will continue to suggest her to anyone who is looking for a new physician.

If I could leave negative stars I would. Assuming psychological problems when problem is medical is something I did not believe a doctor would do. A doctor should never dismiss a patients symptoms and make light of serious medical issues. Adrenal insufficiency is a real medical problem and should be looked into not dismissed. The minute I mentioned that I saw a psychiatrist previously her body language changed. She then left the room leaving me to sit feeling humiliated and dismissed. She then followed up with a MyChart stating I should see a psychiatrist not my neurologist for my "nerve issues". Dismissing my symptoms as all in my head with documented medical evidence. Then sends a certified letter saying she longer wants to see me after insulting my through MyChart messages. She does not have the knowledge base to assist in my care anyhow. Making fun of people for their symptoms is not anything a doctor should do.

Again, new to the area. Have the pleasure of being Dr. Davis’s patient. I love her. She is a blessing!! Always ready to listen, very thorough, and genuinely cares for her patients. I never leave there with unanswered questions.

She is wonderful! She listens to you , she takes time with you , and makes you feel completely uncomfortable . Dr . Davis is very personable, love her !
