We saw her for my ADHD son for a few visits and she changed his medication. I recently called and asked for a new medication consult after not seeing her in over a year and she refused to see us again. No explanation at all as to why she wouldn't see him again. Clearly she doesn't like to be challenged. Anyone with an ADHD kid knows that their meds need adjustment from time to time. So much for helping kids out!

She’s been treating my daughter for three years. She is an amazing listener and asks all the right questions to get my daughter to talk. She is very soft spoken and kind. After years of trying out many different therapists we have finally found comfort and safety in Dr. Cottingham.

She misdiagnosed our son and was dismissive in regards to the symptoms he exhibited at home. The medication she prescribed made him worse , and we have since found out he is bipolar , The medication she had him on for 3 years can exacerbate symptoms. On a thetpeautic level she caused serious damage to our sons perspective on family support and relationships .

Misdiagnosed son. Argumentative, arrogant, not good at communicating. Gave son herbs, he ended up having schizoaffective disorder. She misdiagnosed him at age 17 when the symptoms were there that it was serious.
