I'm a trans man and went to Dr. Collins for my hysterectomy. She was very respectful & introduced herself with her pronouns and asked for mine which I appreciated. She didn't question my decision despite my relatively young age and only asked the appropriate questions (like about keeping my ovaries or not). Surgery & recovery was very smooth. The only issue I had was with one of the front desk people being weird about checking me in because she couldn't understand why a man was trying to check into a women's clinic, but that's not Dr. Collins' fault.

Dr. Collins is truly an awesome doctor. I feel like it's rare these days to have a doctor not rush out of the exam room; Dr. Collins spent time with me, asking me questions trying to figure out my best treatment option. I really appreciated her candor with me and will definitely continue to see her.

Dr. Collins has a great bedside manner - very friendly while also being informative. She was kind during the procedure - telling me what to expect and being very encouraging. Her nurse assistant was really good too. I would highly recommend her. (The wait was a bit long, but I'm assuming that she gave other patients the same attention I received, so I don't mind at all).
