Cold and heartless
I came with a referral and a full neuro report to get medication for my 7-year-old son. She treated me like a worthless parent asking me questions about how happy my marriage was, do we own a gun, and whether we drank alcohol? In front of my Son which caused him to a complete meltdown. I will never remember how terrible she made us feel. Never again!

AVOID THIS DOCTOR!
This woman should not be treating children, I'm not even sure she should be treating adults. She is uncaring, condescending and just plain rude. She talked to me and my son like we were stupid and she broke his spirit with her cold fish demeaning attitude. Avoid her at all costs.

I have taught children for 26 years and have never met someone as unqualified to help children as Dr. Sukiennik. She treated my daughter for ADHD and anxiety. She immediately built an adversarial rapport with my daughter. We cooperated with the office and had a counselor on site as well. Dr. Sukiennik left my daughter in tears each and every visit. She was arrogant and rude. At one point my daughter was crying and telling her she was supposed to be helping her and Dr. Sukiennik told my 13 year old that she was the one with the degree. My daughter at that same time had undergone a very serious spinal fusion surgery. The doctor and the staff at Palos Behavioral were very unsympathetic making her come in for appointments when she was still early in the healing process and needed a walker. Dr. Sukiennik made my daughter feel sad, frustrated, and broke all of her trust in professionals that are supposed to help. I believe that this office should be avoided at all costs.

Took me off meds that I was on for 6 years, which helped me tremendously.I begged & pleaded with her to not take me off them, she wouldn't budge. I then begged & cried for a very slow taper as a compromise. I have other diagnosis that will be exacerbated with a short taper, plus a short taper causes severe withdrawals; death and seizures being among those. She is giving me a one month taper, when the recommendation is at minimum 26 weeks.Told me to go to E.R. if I felt bad withdrawal?
