Dr. Elisa Yoo, MD

First time I went my primary car doctor sent me. Dr. Yoo’s PA is a joke. Felt my neck and said I just had thick skin. She told me I was lucky because it it was first time there I get to see the doctor herself. Dr. Yoo comes in and feels what has been causing pain. She said it is a cyst and it needs to come out. A couple previous doctors also said it was a cyst. I scheduled the surgery. Surgery day comes and Dr. Yoo feels the cyst and said it is much thicker than what she remembered. She now says it is a lymph node. She prescribed antibiotics. She insists the spot the cyst was in was in another spot. I said no it was here and touched it. She felt the correct spot the first time I seen her. She continues to insist it was in another spot where there is a scar. Whatever send me home. But the room wasn’t sanitized before I went in so it was probably a good thing she didn’t continue. I had to ask them to clean the chair as it was covered in hair.

be aware that you may not see Dr.Yoo.I have had appointments with her? and have seen her assistant Rene. I was not informed when I made the appointment a year in advance that I would not see the doctor nor was I informed when I was given a call to confirm the appointment nor when I checked in. This does not work for me as my insurance paid and my co-pay was for the doctor not the assistant. The rating is difficult so assess. Dr. Yoo is a great doctor. Hope you can see her.

I highly recommend Dr. Yoo, she and her staff are wonderful, very friendly and trusted her immediately. Also,The best front desk staff I've encountered in a very long time.
