Dr. Rhew has been my Rheumatologist since 2011.
Dr. Rhew takes time to talk with me as a person. She has helped me with my RA, but she has gone above and beyond just an annual checkup. I had been to the ER a week before regular checkup, after falling and hurting my ankle. I had a boot on my foot. She had me take it off, examined it, and immediately set up an appointment with an Orthopedic Surgeon. She said I had to get it taken care of. The Surgeon said, “Get the boot off - it is the wrong kind.” He gave me strict instructions for icing it, I couldn’t go to work, and I had to see him a couple more times! If Dr. Rhew had not taken the time to check it and give me her recommendation l, I cannot imagine how much I would have suffered. That is just one time she helped me, when I didn’t even expect it. She cares about her patients. I trust her.

Dr. Rhew is a very knowledgeable, caring doctor! I have been going to her for years and she is so thorough. I am very glad she is my rheumatologist.

I have been a patient since she was a fellow at Northwestern and she is very patient, explains the issues and works through the difficulty of having a life long debilitating disease.

Dr Rhew took care of my health problem with concern and expertise to cure it and set up a long term procedure to prevent help prevent the problem from coming back. She provided me with all the time needed to answer all my questions and help me feel much better. She is a very good Doctor
