Dr Gonzalez
Her expertise and dedication are amazing and I appreciate the most is how she takes time to explain things clearly and an answer all my questions. I am very grateful for her care and kindness.

Endless issues, painful to work with
Telehealth
I got switched to this doctor after the last one left and immediately started having issues with getting my prescription as the pharmacy said it was never sent. Finally that was fixed, but then I asked for information about other treatments and never received it, so I had to baby-sit their office to get them to respond. After they finally responded, I paid for another appointment specifically to get a referral for the other treatment and it was never sent. I can't afford to see a doctor that doesn't provide any care and only collects a payment.

Wonderful doctor!
Dr. G and her staff are kind, attentive and competent. I have been seeing her for almost a year; she is very thorough and finally diagnosed me with a condition that other doctors missed because they did not take me seriously. Treatment has been effective and I feel like myself again. Highly recommend.

Shallow Assessment
Diagnosed me with unspecified mood and unspecified anxiety, the laziest diagnoses I've ever been given. That was after the foolhardy bipolar diagnosis. Turns out I actually have autism, ADHD, and PTSD. Responded to my sleep complaints by telling me it's because I take naps. Absolutely cannot wrap her mind around refractory depression / complex trauma. I couldn't sleep for a week on a new medication, and despite trying multiple ways, I wasn't able to get in contact for a month.

Cancelled my appointment on short notice
I called and was given an appointment date. 3 weeks later I was called and told that the doctor had decided to replace me in the schedule with other clients. I find this behavior extremely unprofessional especially given the time spent on securing the appointment (and follow ups required in sequential order with other providers), as well as the time spent filling out various intake forms. This type of unreliability is extremely concerning from a mental health professional, and I highly suggest you find someone with a more consistent track record.

Dr. Gonzalez has an incredible understanding of how to help folks severely impacted by long term trauma and PTSD. In six months, I’ve had better care and better outcomes than expected given the severity of abuse I sustained during my marriage and two near fatal attacks after filing for divorce. TMS was a godsend in getting me to eat and function again. And after another crisis, Dr G immediately responded with support. So grateful to have an expert in the field who centers her care on compassionate support.

Get The Care You Deserve
I was Dr. Gonzalez’s patient from January 2022 to June 2022. During this time, it was nearly impossible to get a hold of her even in emergent situations. At an appointment following a serious reaction to a medication, she questioned why I had endured the serious symptoms for so long or had not gone to the ER. I contacted her office every day for a week trying to get help to no avail and I was both shocked and hurt to hear the blame being placed on me when I did everything I could to seek her help. I was also assured that said medication would not have any withdrawal effect. She was wrong and I became extremely ill and my mental health was adversely impacted. I later found out that said medication did have withdrawal effects and it was well known by all in psychiatry. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Get the care you deserve.

Dr. G is a very smart and amazing doctor. I’m halfway through my TMS treatment which I prayed I would be a candidate for after being on various depression drugs. She listens, she cares, she assures you she will do her best to help you. The TMS treatment is already helping me but I’m confident that she will see me through no matter what my personal treatment might require….I can not emphasize how compassionate and what a great listener and comforter this doctor was to me upon my first visit and thereafter!

Despite an extremely negative and biased psych assessment from another ER, Dr G-R., genuinely listened to my perception of the circumstances and saw through the inaccuracies. Under her care, while an inpatient, I received excellent therapy and have continued to improve since my release over a year ago. If I lived in Ogden, she would be my regular psychiatrist.
