1 star for her staff - never got to see Dr. Weinst
What a snobby, arrogant, useless group of staffers Dr. Weinstein has! I had to jump through so many hoops with my referrals, it was ridiculous. The entire time, I was talked to by each staff member as if I was the crud they scraped off their shoes. Finally, when we got to the point that they were finally willing to schedule an appointment for me, they said they would call me two weeks to schedule said appointment. A TWO WEEK WAIT JUST TO SCHEDULE AN APOINTMENT! That's ludicrous! Guess what? They never called to schedule the appointment. All signs are that Dr. Weinstein is a fantastic physician. She has a 6 month wait for new patient appointments. I will never know. I won't try to deal with the nincompoops that run the office. Tread forth with this practice with care.

I found her to be dismissive and she delayed my diagnosis in doing so. I asked for specific tests and was told I didn’t need them. I needed them. Since changing doctors I’ve received a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. It’s unfortunate when doctors don’t listen, their patients suffer.

This an appointment Oct 2018 - She was attentive listening carefully to my concerns. She assured me I would get a call regarding my labs. To this day, the office never called me. I'm not sure if they have a portal either.

Dr. Weinstein saw me after a yearlong search for an RA medicine for my severe case. The 5th medication I tried caused a near fatal reaction and three hospitalizations. A second opinion and review from Dr Weinstein resulted in a new, safe, effective prescription. For two years I have been functioning well with minimal RA issues. I so appreciate her expertise and would recommend anyone struggling to get a second opinion.

I'm self-pay & PRICE CHECK EVERY appointment before making it. I was confirmed on multiple phone calls & in person that self-pay price for a first visit was $150. After my appointment, I've received multiple bills/phone calls that "$150 was not the actual price, but a deposit subject to future billing." If I'm self-pay, I'm asking for $/hr to see doctor/estimated # of minutes. Price check=Price check. DOES NOT equal Price + Surprise Charges. Be honest up front or suffer the horrible reviews!

So disappointed with my experience with her! I’ve talked to many family members and have read numerous forums about what good rheumatologist’s are supposed to do for autoimmune diseases and she totally dismissed me after my Bloodwork came back normal. From what I understand autoimmune diseases are super hard to diagnose and require more than Bloodwork. She is not one of those doctors.

I love Dr. Elena Weinstein. She always took time with me and explained anything I wanted to know. She has now moved to UCH and my insurance does not cover her there. I am very disappointed in having to find and get to know a new doctor. Her staff has not handled her moving as efficiently as I would have liked. It was sudden and unexpected and voice mails just don't do the trick. I think they should have notified me by mail.
