Dr. Elena Byhoff, MD

THIS DOCTOR DOES NOTHING BUT JUDGE YOU SHE REFERED ME TO BEHAVIOR HEALTH SAYING THAT IM CRAZY IM FAR FROM CRAZY THIS IS CALLED DEFINITION OF CHARACTER SAYING SOMETHING THAT I SM NOT I REQUESTED IT OFF MY RECORDS AND HAVING NOTHING BUT A ISSUE WITH GETTING IF OFF MY RECORD UNBELIEVABLE ALL BECAUSE I SAID IM TIRED OF DOCTORS NOT HELPING WITH MY CHRONIC PAIN SO WHAT IF I WAS FIRM ANYONE WOULD BE IF YOUR NOT GETTING THE PROPER HELP THAT YOU NEED AND GETTING BOUNCED AROUND FROM DOCTOR TO DOCTOR AND GOTTEN NO WHERE I THINK THIS EXPLAINS IT ALL……….

She is dismissive and rude, a complete opposite to my regular PCP. I feel sorry for her.

Just absolutely not it. Not only was she dismissive and utterly condescending, she displayed none of the professional curiosity a physician ought to have. Furthermore, when I described the symptoms I was having and how they were different from my norm, she scoffed, "Hearts do that." Come on! Is that how grown adults speak to each other? Especially in a professional setting where I am paying for your care? Whatever her education level may be, it is completely impeded by her terrible attitude and basic lack of compassion. NOPE. Just no.

Dr. Byhoff listened to my symptoms for a grand total of 30 seconds before cutting me off, examining me (without telling me what she was about to do), and rushing me out the door. She did not ask me any follow up questions but somehow determined that I’m fine. She didn’t help me with my issue. I’m still having symptoms and will go to another doctor. Seeing her is a waste of time.

This doctor is dismissive and condescending. When I addressed the fact that she continued to interrupt me without letting me complete my sentences, she brushed it off and said it’s a “bad habit doctors have.” I needed an appointment quickly and it’s not hard to see why this doctor had immediate openings. I also left my appointment having gained no new information nor a thorough investigation into the source of my issue.

Throughout the entire apppointment Dr. Byhoff was condescending and disrespectful. She exhibited an extreme lack of professional courtesy and showed no empathy for my health condition. When attempting to give her my patient history she cut me off immediately and claimed 'you keep going off on a tangent'. It should be noted the appointment last less than 10 minutes, there were a total of 2 patients in the waiting room, and contrary to her perception she did not allow me (the patient) to speak fo
