Dr. Elaine Schaefer, DO

I've been with Dr. Schaefer for a number of years now. She is thoughtful and caring, and overall very thorough. She has been very helpful as I navigate a number of conditions with different specialist.

Like I wrote, she's rude and uppity.

She gives you as much time as you need..she answers all of your questions. She is understanding and non-judgmental. She knows her stuff and is kind, considerate and compassionate. I am happy to have found her 4 years ago!

Condescending attitude, controls ether conversation, she doesn’t make you feel comfortable, focus is not on your concerns, she would rather push her agenda. Strangest doctor I have ever dealt with. Doesn’t prescribe more than 30 pills at a time for a standard BP med, wants repeat visits, just overall not a warm, receptive doctor, she may be under corporate scrutiny as she is young. Experience may help her, needs education on how to communicate with an intelligent adult patient, felt like a child.

Horrible communication. I have been trying to speak with this woman (I refuse to call her a doctor) for two months to address medical concerns about a family member who goes to her. I have been leaving messages requesting a call back and nothing, she has no respect and is neglectful. This family member is sick and will not let met take her to a doctor. My only recourse was to speak with her primary care physician to give her insight before an upcoming physical. How caring can she possibly be if she is this neglectful and has no concern. My multiple attempts to speak with her should have been an indication to her this was urgent!

Dr Schaefer is great, always concerned & compassionate.

Horrible follow up on test results! She will leave the office for a holiday weekend without regard for her patients. Office does not return calls. Patients are ignored and neglected
