As nice as Dr. O, his medical practices and the way he runs his clinic is extremely unprofessional and actually dangerous to the health and well-being of children. They take all patients, but, no matter what time your appointment is, if 10 newborns walk-in (no appointment needed) or have an appointment, you have to wait for them. My 1-month old daughter's appointment was at 10am and we weren't seen until 11:25am. When she was finally seen, Dr. O literally tapped the stethoscope on her chest, tugged on her legs, and walked out (telling the nurse to get her Hep-B shot). When I stopped him and brought up the congestion she was experiencing (which I also put on the intake form that they NEVER reference), he gave me a remedy his grandmother gave on him and walked out. Had he done a proper examination, he would have discovered that my daughter was suffering from Thrush on her tongue and that was contributing to her congestion. This was my daughter's 2nd and LAST visit to this office.

Ive been bringing my kids to this office since they were born. They listen, take the time to check my children and explain everything well enough for me to understand. They offer same day appointments usually everyday. They can usually get us in on the same week or 2 for vaccinations and physicals. If one office cannot see my children you can also call the other office to see if there are any appointments available.

I’ve been with Dr. O since I was born and the office is the best in Long Beach. The nurses, NP, and doctor really care about you and get to know you.

When you call for sane day appointment your turned away in emergency cases your asked to go the next day.. staff won't go the extra mile for a patient regardless if their babies.. doctors are great but service is horrible wait time horrible never given same day appointment
