Caring Doctor
Dr. Bogason is wonderful! He explains everything in detail and lays out options for care. He is honest and forthcoming in his responses. He is generous with his time and I never once felt rushed at my appointment. He answered all my questions and concerns. I could tell he genuinely cared about relieving my pain. He didn't rush to a surgical option. His demeanor put me at ease.

Great Doctor
He just save my life,after i got car accident, bleeding brain, first time when he tell me need to surgery my brain, i was very scared, and denied to take surgery..But after he explain everything for me ,i accept the surgery, and thanks for Dr Bogason, he did a great job,saved my life,and his team nurses so great too ,they're take a good care for me..Thank you Dr Bogason and your team once again

Definitely NOT. He operated on my elderly mother and gave her no proper explanation of what he did. Then she discovered that he didn't use the proper sutures and didn't cover the hole in her skull with a plate. Now she has a soft spot in her skull. She saw him about the soft spot and he said that what she was feeling under the soft spot was her BRAIN! And apparently he thought this was okay. If she wants to cover this hole she has to have surgery again.

Dr. Bogason made me feel at ease. He is such a caring Dr. and explains everything in detail. He also makes sure you understand in terms we know and not big medical names. Dr. Bogason is very down to earth and trusting. I would highly recommend him and give him 10 stars and more.

Dr Bogason is now @ Mercy Neurosurgery in Des Moines Iowa, He has a calming demeanor, he made me feel relaxed and that made me feel comfortable talking to him. We decided on a plan that works for me!
