Without her anymore I feel lost. It’s very difficult to trust anyone nowadays less alone with your mental health. Those who criticized her should have had interest in her as a person and addressed her about her behavior. Unfortunately she left because of her health(not mental) didn’t allowed her to work anymore. I became close enough as a patient to inquire about what was going on. I just wish I could contact her again and see how she is doing. I’m trying to find another doctor but I lost the address to inquire about my records.

Dr. Smith is a cruel and disturbingly ?reckless doctor. When I called the office to let them know the medication was giving me suicidal ideations, she would not call me back or give me an emergency appointment. Instead she just had her *secretary* tell me to take more.??... Over the course of my life I have always trusted doctors to maintain a base level of professionalism and public trust. Dr. Smith destroyed my innocence. She almost killed me.?? And, when I fired her and left her office, she said to me sarcastically, “May the force be with you.” Today, many healing years later, I went back to her office to see if I could get my medical records. She was gone without a trace. If I had any advice for anyone coming across this woman’s name, don’t go looking for her. Entrusting this woman to your care will mean opening the door to more sickness, misery and distress than what you could have ever fathomed before even darkening her door.

Doctor Smith was my doc for many years. Unfortunately Obamacare forced me to seek another doctor because the 'Oscar' insurance that they sold me was not accepted at any psych doctors anywhere near my home. Thanks Obama for NOT LETTING ME KEEP MY DOCTOR! I miss Doctor Smith and I wish her well.

Go somewhere else! First visit, doctor snoozed off and asked what I think I have. Office staff is incompetent and does not know how to properly process claims, therefore overcharged me. Refused to give me a refund and made it impossible to get a follow up. After 2 years, I can say that I've waited up to 3 hours which implies that they are craming in as many patients as possible. Doctor can't identify when patient is having a manic moment nor communicate effectively. Follow up appointments

My wife had been seeing Dr. Smith for about 20 yrs. I recently lost my job after 30 yrs so I did not have insurance so my wife missed an appointment. No that I am back at work we scheduled an appointment. But since it was over a year since seeing the Dr she will be charged over $400 dollars and treated as a new patient again. Ridiculous! Any way to make more money! Hypocrite oath instead of the Hippocratic oath.

I can't believe this woman has a license to practice medicine. Every time I went to see her she would write me a new prescription. She acted like I was an imposition to her. She told me once that I was taking advantage of her. She never had any input on my situations. The office personnel were not very good either. They would make me pay my co-payment and then when the insurance paid as well they would never let me know. They tried twice to keep my money. I would never recommend.

I saw Dr Smith for a few months. She didn't know her prescription medicine well and told me there was no generic brand for my $200/month prescription. After going with another Dr I found out there was a generic brand of my meds that would have saved me big bucks. Dr Smith was unfriendly, had an unhappy demeanor, and was hard to connect with as a psychiatrist. She was no help to me other than writing a prescription.

Dr. Smith is a talented, smart, and effective doctor. I have been seeing her for almost 8 years. Although it is true that you will wait awhile to be seen, it is definitely worth it! She is well versed with the latest pharmaceutical breakthroughs and always knows what to try to help you. She is listens to you and makes you feel like you are a part of your own treatment team. She is honest, yet comforting. I would send anyone her way who is in need of a psychiatrist.

Save time and find another provider; you will be disappointed. You would think empathy towards patients, especially a specialist working in this field, would be a key attribute but you would be wrong when it comes to Dr Smith. Her staff is no better. Attention to details is atrocious (e.g. staying on time, mistakes regarding prescriptions, and more). Think you will find a friendly ear? Think again!

Dr. Smith is an incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable woman with the staff to back her up. I have been a patient for 6 months and will continue to be even though I now live in Austin. I'd continue to be a patient even if she wasn't in network with my insurance. You may spend some time in the waiting room, but it's for good reason. Some sessions take five minutes, but recently I had a crisis and spent significantly more time with her than alotted. She truly puts her patients first.

Spends very little time before jumping to diagnosis. Does not seem to listen or hear what patient is explaining. Rude without reason. Absolutely no patience. Very condescending and narrow minded. Absolutely no help and complete waste of my time and money.
