Dr. Edwin Yang, MD

This review is long over due. To get right to the point, Dr. Yang is the best. My family and I were new to Kaiser in January 2018, after being with a PPO for decades. The first time I met him we went over my medical history, and got to know each other. Just when I thought the conversation was over, he said, "Is there anything else?" Wait what? You have more time to go further? So I said, "If you have time, there is one more thing, it has to do with my Heart". After asking questions, and listening to my answers, he ordered a series of tests (ones that other Dr's outside of Kaiser never did) and diagnosed my condition. He referred me to the Cardio department and they took it from there. I had a surgical procedure in June of 2018, and have been fine ever since, even ran in 2 LA Marathons. I can honestly say that I owe my life to Dr. Yang. Thank you Dr. Yang and the entire Kaiser Organization. If this says "long wait times", that is incorrect, I have never a long wait.

Told my 92 year old mother to “finish the antibiotics” and rest and drink fluids, after we made it clear they weren’t helping. She came in urgent care with a very congested cough, sore throat and extreme tiredness. He didn’t give her a breathing treatment or Chest X-ray. Lousy care of a 92 year old woman in my book. Most fortunately a few days later when mom wasn’t any better, a Dr. Bledscoe promptly ordered a chest x ray and changed her antibiotics. I’d never recommend Dr. Yang. Pure and simple
