On call doctor this weekend. Would not give me any refill on current muscle relaxant. Recent fall, injured ribs, went to urgent care and PCP earlier this week. All was healing until I moved the wrong way and the Terrible muscle spasms started up again. Just wanted a few more pills to get me through a few days until the spasms calmed down. Was told no, go to ER or urgent care again. I called another doctor I know for help, and no problem. If he is on when you need medical care, I feel sorry for you.

Did not listen to me or to specialists, did not empathize, offered unnecessary injections, refused to refer serious injury for further diagnosis and treatment. He tried at times to seem approachable or understanding but repeatedly demonstrated poor manners in general. He was rarely familiar with my medical history or test results (even the most recent ones). He might be a great guy but for me he was a terrible doctor and he's lucky I'm morally opposed to suing doctors.

I have multiple chronic health problems and have seen Dr. Tan for several years now. He is excellent and oversees my health care and makes appropriate referrals to specialists when necessary. He seems very knowledgeable about all aspects of medical care, medication, medication side effects and living with chronic health issues. He is always caring, compassionate, as well as listens and explains things in understandable language. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a primary care physician.

I would not recommend Dr Edward Tan to or for ANYTHING .His bed side manner sucks , what he calls a phycial is a Quick look at the eyes , ears and nose , Quick listen to the heart and lungs and done Aftermy mother being a 5 yr patient no blood work what so ever , and take many medications , when needing a new script it takes him 2 or more weeks to get one , He is not a Doctor that is not dependable at all , nor shows any remorse for his patients , nor does he care , I feel he is mal- pratice

Really does the bare minimum needed to keep his job. I think he is ready for retirement and takes several days off at a time.

Nice but doesn't really listen to his patients or know the latest treatments. Quite a bit had changed since med school and it is hard to keep up, but that is the job.

I've been Dr. Tan's patient and visited him several times in the past. He has shown genuine concern for my condition, provided excellent diagnostics and remedial actions, and is very genial. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a primary.

Impersonal, aloof, did not read any of my record so had no understanding of what is was I was inquiring about. I was changed to his care when my Dr left the practice-I will not be returning.
