Excellent Doctor
My son is a collegiate track and football athlete that relies on these sports to help pay for college. When he had a knee injury, we stressed about who to go to. We opted for Dr. Roeder and glad we did. He took such great care of our son, as did the entire staff. The anesthesiologist came in and visited with Josh for quite a while since Josh is going to school for that and offered for Josh to shadow him, taking his mind off of the surgery. Josh was up and going that afternoon anfter surgery annd hadn’t looked back. Although he’ll have a few weeks for total recovery, he’ll be back fully for his college sports. Thank you Dr. Roeder and staff.

Extremely competent, confident, caring
I needed a competent Dr for chronic pain and was surprised by both Dr Roeder's straightforward attitude and his depth of explanation about my issue and his treatment. I've been dealing with hip/leg failure for 7 yrs and finally am receiving the needed treatment. I am genuinely confused by his low raiting. If you are interested in healing, I recommend Dr Roeder. If you are looking for drug therapy, maybe go elsewhere.

Very poor doctor
To me he doesn’t care about his patients at all. He was very abrasive and uncaring. Asked me why my doctor even sent me to him. He never even examined me just looked at the X-ray. Wouldn’t even make eye contact with me would only look at my husband. I would never recommend him as a doctor.

I wont even acknowledge he is a surgeon, he should be assisting maybe a vet. I broke my hip and he first tried to fix my hip with a arthroscopic procedure which failed and then he put in a total hip. I have been in pain from 2-1-2017 so I went to Dr. Jones at Mercy he said my him was not installed correctly. The wrong spike was used and possibly the spike has moved causing my leg to be over 1" shorter than left leg (spike is the part that goes into the femur bone of the leg. The socket ball is also not at the right angle to be pain free, Dr Jones is looking into a fix for the joint to return my leg length. With a short leg it has also caused problems with my lower back and I have just completed spine surgery.

Very good doctor. Very personable and thorough on my wife's exam for her sprained ankle. He was very upbeat and positive.

I can't recommend this doctor. Although he is competent, he's also abrasive and uncaring. Once the operation was done, which was joint replacement, his lack of follow-up caused a major problem for me.

Always in a hurry Was more worried about what was best for the insurance company than what was best for me Would say one thing to me then change it after speaking to the insurance company Frequently said one thing then did another as well as changed time frames Actually gave the insurance company my new guidelines the day before he examined me at least once. I know this because they gave them to my attorney the day before he saw me for one of my follow up appointments.
