Terrible experience
When I saw Dr. Robinson a few weeks ago, I told him I'd been experiencing serious stomach pain and other significant GI symptoms for 3 weeks. Despite lab results that were off and explaining I'd barely been able to get out of bed for weeks because of the pain, he told me he wasn't concerned, diagnosed it as stress and said to add fiber to my diet. He showed no compassion or concern for how much pain I was in or how much my symptoms were affecting me. A couple weeks later, my PCP correctly diagnosed me with C. Diff, an intestinal bacterial infection, after just hearing about the same symptoms over the phone and was able to quickly treat me with antibiotics that started providing relief within 24 hours. It was deeply disappointing and concerning that a doctor would so quickly dismiss my symptoms as in my head, especially with the severity and length of time and lab results indicating there was an issue. I felt like just a box to check off so he could get to his next patient.
