Dr. Edward Yosowitz, MD

My sister called Ed (he was both our dr at the time) and told him i had been in under observation for hours in an ER at another hospital in the medical center. He had me moved to his hospital, came in and examined me, called another dr. to come immediately to assist, and did emergency surgery on me that night. I had a bad infection in my abdomen -- ovary and tube. He took out that side and left the unaffected side as I was in my early 30s and no kids. He didn't want to prevent me from being able to have children later. He told me when they opened me up I was 'full of pus.'

Better than first class, Dr. Edward Yosowitz sets the bar for physicians in expert medical treatment. Most important is giving compassion for the person he is responsible for their medical care. Dr. Yosowitz gives you, the patient the most sincere attention I have ever experienced in 60 years. On my first visit he sat and chatted with me in his office (not the exam room). He said this was an interview for me to see If I wanted him as my doctor and an interview for him to see if we wanted to continue a doctor -patient relationship. WHO takes the time to do that now?

Edward Yosowitz has been my doctor for more than 40 years! He has always been an excellent physician and a caring provider. Over the years I have called on him for my regular GYN as well as Emergency care and never been disappointed. My daughters and granddaughter have been his patients and we all genuinely love and respect him.
