Never again
I saw this man May 2024 he was in and out I’m not even five minutes and I was in exclusionary pain. He did an extra IT showed the fusion I had to have in Fl and according to his ex rays my back had gotten worst and my spine had curved and all he talked about and fast speaker was that I should go to pain management and physical therapy. If I can’t do physical things I need to do in everyday life what is physical therapy going to do. No result or conclusion was offered to on how to proceed with or to fix my back. Pain management, physical therapy and he was out the door. Looking at his notes I saw nothing but lies. How he has spent so much time with me and a plan, his main 3 to4 page notes was about smoking which I don’t smoke anymore haven’t since 2006. I’ll NOT be going back to him EVER

Waste of time
Waste of time. Was sent to PT, saw him again 2 myths later. He suggested chiropractor and acupuncture for six months, then he would “do” something about fixing my back. I can not do either because of prior back/hip surgeries. So he told me to “just take more medicine and come back in six months.” For what? I feel like he is simply not interested in helping a patient.

Dr.smith is patient and kind. The office staff was attentive and I didn’t wait long before seeing the doctor. From the moment he walked in I felt at ease.

I’ll give dr Smith 1/2 star. I had a choice to see dr Smith , a local dr, or to go to NewSouthNueroSpine in Flowood in which I’ve seen before. Very good Place too. But I chose to stay local. So I seen Smith’s nurse practitioner first. When Smith does come in he ask me the same questions that I had already answered on a questionnaire, in which he was reading the questions from and same questions the Nurse Practitioner asks then proceeded to show me I had a bulging disk on my MRI, which I already knew because I’ve had it since 2014. Tells me I have to go back to New South For them to do something for me. Schedule an appointment to see me again in three months for a follow up he says. Three months? And for what? He did nothing for me except tell me what I already knew. Now I have to go out of town where I should have went back to to begin with. Don’t waste your and your insurance company’s money or your time.

Staff was good, but not the Dr. He spent 6 minutes. My MRI report stated 3 bulging discs, narrowing of the spinal canal, and an annular tear, but Dr. Smith made it seem as if I shouldn’t be in any pain. I tried to tell him I’ve been in pain 5 1/2 years and it’s become steadily worse. He just made me feel as if I was a number and he couldn’t WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT PATIENT CAME AND TGE MONEY WAS ROLLING IN! I was told I can’t do anything except schedule pt and maybe a pain clinic, but let me see you in six months. SIX MONTHS?!?!?!? For what??? To waste my money so you don’t believe me again????
